Wow! I have a commercial mortgage and a residential mortgage, I was calling about combining my business and personal online banking so that I could see the functionality and possibly start utilizing their deposit accounts. The lady I spoke to was so rude I will never do business with them again. I'm retired from banking. For a representative to have such rude and bad customer service, this has to be indicative of the culture at this financial institution. I would avoid unless they are materially less in pricing on loans.

I love Tapco been with them for about 7 yrs but the only thing I don't like about them is I don't feel like they were able to help me when I was in a struggle with my house payments i tried to get loans to help me catch up on my house my fiance passed away and i had to get personal loans to help witch was a nightmare i was told i needed more income i been at my same job for 6yrs in my house for luke 14 yrs i thought that shouldve been enough to atleast help ..that is my only complaint with Tapco the help wasnt available for 1 single parent

Came in with my family for membership account revisions. Jordan T helped us so patiently. My family can be overwhelming. We came at the end of the day and she was so kind, quick and knowledgeable. Made us so comfortable to ask questions. Very efficient. Can't say enough. Thanks Jordan T

Tapco had issues with there computers for a month and couldn’t take my payment over the phone or though the app and because they had like 2 locations my auto loan payment went through late. Now I am trying to make a payment and can’t unless I call back and try to reach someone from the loan department because they can’t transfer me. Terrible service they have never been any help.

I have an auto loan through tap code and it is. Impossible to make my payment through Their app or online through another institution without putting a bunch of information in. I should be able to pay it on a debit card. Just like thousands of purchases. I make online would not suggest. Getting a loan if u wish to make easy payments and they charge 15 dollars everything I make my payment mind u that's not a late fee.

The individuals working here are very nice. But the level of services offered is not consistent or competitive. As others have mentioned, the drive through ATM was out of service for an extended time; another time, the ATM would not accept a deposit. The online app also has outages; and when my wife had an issue accessing her account, or I had issue service hours were so limited and took multiple calls to restore. Finally, when I hit a hard patch, I discovered TAPCO charges $32 for Non-Sufficient Funds. With bills on auto-pay, that stacked up quick; and unlike my other credit union, I got no alerts about the situation. No email, text or phone call, despite them having all 3 means to contact me. If you are lucky, something will arrive in the mail. They refunded 2 of the fees; which sounds generous until you realize that other credit unions charge far less ($10 at BECU). One of the attractions of a credit union is the idea that they exist for members and don't prey on customers for profit. When I started banking in Tacoma, TAPCO was near my house and work, so it was an easy choice. After I moved, I found that shared branching is not what it used to be for credit unions; some have opted out, making the patchwork of bilateral relations unreliable. Despite the inconvenience of relocating all the bill pay data, we've decided to move on.

Well here I am again to warn people to stay far far away from this company. Once again they are sending me emails saying I need to show proof of insurance before they put their own (much more expensive) insurance on my car. How does a company continuously lose my insurance information? I have bought MANY cars over the years and NEVER have I had this much trouble with a finance company. You'd be better off with a loan shark.

I am a new member and am amazed at the level of service I have received! Amazing and welcoming team helped me to open new accounts and secure a loan with an excellent interest rate for my new car!!! As a newcomer to the USA, they made this a smooth, fast and super easy process. I’m so grateful. I’m glad to hear that they have been upgrading there service and along with that comes some of the growing pains in the recent months. Small price to pay to receive the amazing and improved service they continue to provide. Thank you TAPCO!!!

Systems go down and you have no access to your money. Wait on the phone to talk to a rep for ever and than as soon as it connects they hang up. Cards stop working very quickly.been with tapco for about 15 years. Cant wait to leave this bank.

I have been a Tapco member for 38 years. In the last 2 years, things have significantly gone down hill. Multiple system outages that last for days on end, deactivated my debit card with no notification right before a holiday weekend "due to a fraud attempt" and the drive up ATM on 19th street has been broken for months and now the walk up ATM at the 6th Ave location is down. Absolutely unacceptable that members are dealing with this while the ceo and other execs most likely live like kings, it's disgusting. I'm taking my business elsewhere.Update: today after leaving this review I received a personal phone call from the CEO of tapco. He apologized for the unacceptable service that has been occurring and assured me that he is attempting to get a new system for the bank that is more reliable. He gave me his personal phone number and assured me I could call him at any time if I had any further problems. I am highly impressed and will be keeping my business with tapco as I give them a chance to upgrade their systems and improve their customer service.
