There is always something wrong with their system. I have not been able to check my balance even at the ATM for 2 days now. When you call they can't do it either. It would not be so bad if this was a once in awhile thing but it happens all of the time. I was given a cashiers check from my uncle for an inheritance they will not release the funds for 5 days because there is so much fraud going around. But the manager was getting ready to take a 4 day weekend so I am pretty sure he did not want to take the time to call the other bank to verify funds. I have been with this bank for years and I am truly thinking of taking my business else where.

Horrible service at all locations. Charge several bs fees. Close early. Attitude? Seriously it's your job! Might as well throw your money out the window. Constantly problems with banking online and app. You're better off using cou Seymour, at least you know he's a liar

Our experience with TAPCO over the past few years has been nothing but complicated. Their systems are constantly not working. We hardly ever have access to our online banking. They lock our debit cards constantly. I've been without a debit card for over a week and a half because their card making services are down. I keep being told to just come in the next day and it will work, which is why I haven't ordered one online. Now I'm being charged late fees with my bills because I literally don't have a debit card to pay them. I will be emptying my account Monday morning and going to a new bank. Don't bank with TAPCO.

UPDATE: I’ve contacted Pat McElligott, ChairRob Masko, Vice Chair and Justin Martin, Chief Executive Officer regarding this matter and hope for this to be addressed ASAP.If I could rate this TAPCO location 0 stars I would. I just had the worst experience I have ever had at any business in my entire life. I have my car loan through TAPCO and have always used my Navy Federal Debit card (I am a veteran) to make my car payments through the drive through at the Bonney lake location and the central Tacoma location with no problems. I cannot afford to make appointments over the phone due to the hefty $15 fee that comes along with that. Today, I had to take my 2 year old son to urgent care and he tested positive for COVID. After we left urgent care, I went through the drive through and told the cashier that I would like to make my car payment. I was told I would need to come inside to make a payment with a debit card that was not affiliated with TAPCO. I explained I had just left urgent care with my son and I cannot come inside or we’d be exposing other people and asked if they could make an exception. Amy, supervisor of all of the TAPCOs apparently, told the cashier I had to come inside. The cashier held onto my cards. I come inside with my sick son, and let the customers in line know out of courtesy to others, my 2 year old son has Covid, they won’t let me make my payment through the drive thru, I’m a single mom and need to make my car payment so here we are. Amy, whom is supposed to be a supervisor professional, comes up to me pointing her finger to door and demands I leave. I ask this so called professional, what do I do to make my car payment, can you help me? Amy refused to give me any suggestions or support on this matter. Instead, said “you know what your options are, leave now or I am calling the cops.” I left and called the other Tacoma TAPCO who was nice enough to waive the phone charge. I left a message for Heather who oversees Amy to call me back to address this traumatic experience. I suggest going to another credit union if you can to avoid the dehumanizing treatment TAPCO gives its customers. Let alone to a veteran with a sick child. TAPCO you should be ashamed of your supervisors behavior and need to address this.

Have Always Had Good Experiences w/Tapco Till Now. Member of CUs for Over 40 yrs & Internet/Finance Manager for Car Stores for Over 22yrs. I Was Helping a Tapco Customer w/an Auto Trade-In. A Few Days Later I Got a Call From "JOSH" in Tapco's Loan Payment Dept. He Seemed To Have a Chip on His Shoulder & a BAD Attitude Right From the Word Go. It Only Took a Couple Minutes To See He Had Over Stepped & Was Way Out of His Depth. The More He Spoke, The More Unprofessional He Proved To Be. On Top of Showing He Truly Had Absolutely No Idea What He Was Talking About. After Hundreds Of Credit Union Interactions Over The Years I Have Never Been Motivated To Leave One a Bad Review Till Now. After Calling & Speaking w/Tapco Management They Will Figure Out That He Is Either In The Wrong Business or an Issue w/Training. As Someone Who Has Managed Many Employees over the Years. My Question For An Employee Like This Is Always: What Will He Do To Embarrass Us Next Time?

I've had a Tapco account for almost 30 years and have never had a problem. That makes it a great place to keep my money safe and available.

I have been with TAPCO for many years and I have never had a problem with them. Although, I mostly use the online banking but the times I have been inside have been met with satisfactory service.

Google reviews made me give 1 star but in reality it's 0 stars.I only gave a 1 star because I had to.After hour agents are absolutely useless and the bank says it's closed at 10am on a Saturday. The Puyallup branch is open from 9-1pm but all I keep getting is after hour agents who can't do anything. I don't even know why Tapco uses a 3rd party which can't access our accounts or nothing.

DO NOT GET A CREDIT CARD WITH THIS CREDIT UNION! IT IS NEAR TO IMPOSSIBE TO MAKE A PAYMENT WITHOUT GETTING IN YOUR FLINSTONES MOBILE AND SCOOTING IN PERSON TO THE BRANCH. YOU MUST GO INSIDE THOUGH, BECAUSE THE ATM MACHINES ARE 75% OF THE TIME OUT OF SERVICE! NO JOKE!! PUT YOUR MONEY IN A COFFEE CAN IN YOUR BACKYARD!! I WILL NEVER BANK WITH THIS CU AGAIN!! THEIR "ACCOUNT SOLUTIONS" DEPARTMENT IS NO HELP EITHER. EVEN IF YOU GO INSIDE THE BRANCH, THE TELLERS HAVE NO CLUE OF HOW TO HELP YOU. SERIOUSLY NOT AT ALL WORTH THE HEADACHE!!

This is my first experience with TAPCO and I've gotta say, I'm super impressed. Most of my experience was over the phone working with a Member Services Rep., however, I did have to go into this branch to sign documents. I called to inquire about refinancing my auto loan through TAPCO for a lower rate and lower payment. Jenna Stitt was the rep that worked with me when I called and ran through options as far as loan terms go. When I got off the phone I wasn't sure they were the best choice and I was thinking of reaching out to BECU. A few days later, Jenna reached out to me and told me she had been running options and working with her boss to get me the best possible refi deal. I was shocked! I've never had a credit union really work to earn my business before on an auto refi. I've always felt like just another number or credit score or blah blah. She really knocked it out of the park and took amazing care of my loan. I was relieved and their offer was better than any BECU deals and the service had been phenomenal. She took care of all the details on her end and I simply went in to sign a few documents and I was good to go. I even got to skip a payment!! :) I'm so happy and I definitely would highly recommend them if you're looking to refinance an auto loan. Oh and I also opened a savings account which was pretty simple and effortless.
