I was surprised to actually see a African American section for books in this part of town, I was even more surprised at the level of customer service I received. I'm African American with braids an dress in urban fashion and I'm usually followed when dressed this way in wealthier retail areas, but this store is the complete opposite. Has that small town hospitality vibe every time I enter an I appreciate the patience shown to me an my hyper 7 an 8 year running thru the store . Thank you an merry Christmas

The staff here is very knowledgeable and can suggest options that relate to my description of the child, based on the child's age and interests.

My favorite place to shop in Proctor! They always have such cute toys and books, and the staff always have helpful recommendations when you're too overwhelmed to pick something out yourself. Gift wrapping available with every purchase also makes last-minutes shopping a breeze!

Cute little store with wide selection of toys and books. Found it a little odd the storage door in the back was open- anyone could have snuck back there, including little ones. Was a bit put off that no one acknowledged or greeted us as we entered the store.

Some of the coolest toys. They have Harry Potter and Star Wars Lego and a great selection of activity toys. Awesome staff greets you at the door.

I‘ve been coming here off & on for 20 years. On the rare occasion I have to speak with the owner, I regret going. She is just so condescending. I love the shop, the selection, the employees - I just don‘t care for the owner, making it hard to want to spend money there. (I go to the Gig Harbor store so I can pretend I‘m not giving her my money.) The toys, books, & games are pricier than you can get them elsewhere, but you expect that when supporting a smaller, local business. Great for a last minute gift, not so great if you don‘t like spending money where it is going to someone who makes you feel „small“ or inferior.

There is something magical about this store. The quality and selection are top notch and the customer service is authentically kind and warm. It's nice to be valued as a customer which I never feel at big box stores. There is something for all ages on the shelf and the suggestions I received were fantastic!

So we just happened on this store when we were looking for ice cream and yes the ice cream shop is just a little down the road like 5mins your there. But what is the real bonus is this store it has toys for all ages and they are fairly priced not too expensive. Plus they are toys that get your kids off the electronic and into their own imagination! They have all the toys that let kid explore and use their imaginations without going to 10 stores and 12 websites. They even have baby toys and they are things you want your baby playing with. The have melisa and Doug, German made toys, the recycled plastic trucks the tough brand, wooden train tracks and sets to build on,calico critters, puppets that don't scare kids, glow in the dark toys, books for all ages, and books for 2 years that I was buying through a serves but no more this store has the same books without the membership fee! Outdoor toys and the list goes on. The shop looks small from the outside but packed with good stuff and the store owner and sales people so nice! You can tell they like kids and don't just sell toy to make money. They also have a punch card so once you buy $100 of toys you get $5 free to spend in the store. Which any money saved is great in my books. They were even open during all this Covid mess and the store is very clean. We are going shopping there for the holidays. Thank you for being one of the few toy stores left!
