We enrolled our daughter at Zenith West Gymnastics in 2021. We invested thousands of dollars and countless hours into the program. We were trusting them with supporting our daughter and her emotional and physical development. We expected safety, truth, and respect. What we received in return was not only disappointing—it was deeply damaging. Unfortunately, our time ended with a complete breakdown of trust, accountability, and professionalism on their part.
This isn’t an isolated incident. Look at the reviews:
• Children shamed, bullied, and humiliated—with no protection or empathy.
• Parents silenced, brushed off, or retaliated against for voicing concerns.
• Multiple accusations of intimidation and toxic culture.
• A pattern of deleting or suppressing negative reviews to maintain an illusion of integrity.
Favoritism runs rampant. Sloppy business practices at best. Lies and cover ups. A disgraceful lack of partnership with parents. Closed practices….. seems suspicious. I should have trusted my gut, and these reviews.
Despite claiming a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, violence, and body-shaming, their actions suggest otherwise. The fine print at the bottom of their handbook may protect them legally—but ethically, it exposes a troubling truth: policies at Zenith West aren’t meant to guide or protect; they’re meant to shield leadership from accountability.
To anyone considering this gym: Read the reviews they can’t delete. Ask questions. Trust your instincts.
This post isn’t just for her. It’s for every young athlete whose voice was ignored, whose spirit was dimmed, and whose potential was overshadowed by poor leadership. You deserve better. Your kids deserve better.

Zenith has a dedicated staff and you will be challenged. Lacey is hands on as an owner and approachable! She gives you her heart and soul because she CARES about athlete development. Our daughter has improved immensely. Highly recommended!

We really love Zenith, it feels like one big family! The owners and coaches TRULY care about the gymnasts well being, and strive so hard to make sure the gymnasts health comes first. The communication is great, and we always have access to the coaches to get feedback on our daughter’s progress. Highly recommend!

My daughter started in the summit classes and recently joined preteam. The gym is great and the staff/coaches are wonderful. Communication is great and overall my daughter is truly enjoying her time here.

The 19 yr old that instructed my son’s class was simply not ready. She told my son that if he failed or ‘will get an F’ whenever he didn’t get something right away. When we brought this to their attention (which was a hassle) they simply told us, “we don’t de a grading system.” They only focus on the older kids, and it’s very apparent.

We were at another gym before Covid and did not like the experience. Since being at Zenith, the past almost 2 years, has been a great experience. When my daughter was in rec she had a blast and anytime we talked to the coaches about her skills they were kind and responsive. Since being on team she has progressed so much more and is not just learning about gymnastics. She is also learning positive values of determination, hard work, nutrition and strength, and so much more. I have and would highly recommend Zenith.

Poor coaching is evident in the health (both mental and physical) of their athletes and their scoring. If you want your kid to progress and not be constantly injured, look elsewhere. Much better coaching is easily available. Many of the glowing reviews of this gym came from their employees or the owner’s family. Beware.

Had my girls at this gym for awhile. My daughter is allergic to dogs and there's a dog that roams about the gym freely. I believe it to be the owner's dog. They know about her allergies, it is documented and it still happened constantly. Also, there's a huge lack of communication on just about everything. Moved my girls to a different gym with no issues and no dogs.

Mediocre gym, not worth the price at all. Yes, it's fun for kids but definitely not pushing them to meet their full potential. The YMCA has a way better gymnastics program. Honestly some of the girls were learning more from free YouTube channels than from attending Zenith West Gym. Owner is nice until you confront her. Very respectful with our concerns but she doesn't want to hear anything slightly negative. :(

I have known the owner of this gym for more than three years, both as a coach and as a business person. She is ethical, responsible, and very supportive of her students and their families. I would not hesitate to recommend Zenith West to any family.

Could not reiterate this more: The coaches at Zenith West Gymnastics are loving, talented and have a passion to offer all potentials for a gymnast to rise to her highest aspirations and goals. Our family has two daughters on the competitive team in this program and we couldn't have more confidence in having them with this wonderful gym.

We LOVE Zenith West so much. Our daughter started team in August 2020 and we are treated like family. From the minute, we walked through the front door everyone treated us with RESPECT. Management was been amazing and the coaching staff goes above and beyond our expectations.

Amazing coaches and staff...conscientious, highly trained and focused on the growth and development of each child. I have been impressed with the positive energy in the gym and the encouragement given by coaches as well as other gymnasts so that every person is supported. Great job, Zenith West!!!

If people truly felt positively about the gym they would have written reviews long ago. Not to help the owner cover up a negative review she received . Seems as though someone has a guilty conscience, and needs to right a wrong . My friends review was tasteful and was only to gain attention after being repeatedly ignored . I am typing to to conceal my identity so my granddaughter doesn’t get kicked out. Every time I drive to the gym I feel guilty by the way she treated Alanna and her mom if anything was distasteful , It was the owner calling the cops and having a paying parent and her 5 year old child removed, who is great friends with my grand daughter and referred us to the gym despite her concerns. Alanna’s mom was a Marter for many and hopefully Lacey will treat other parents in the future with respect when it comes to their concerns regarding their children & grandchildren . I would also like to note one’s experience will not be another’s

There is rarely a gym who invests in young girls in the manner that zenith West does. The instructors are excellent in part because they have done what they are teaching these girls to do. There is a heart in this place beyond the scope of gymnastics routines to the overall development of the whole girl. What privilege to be apart,
