“This is a drive up Veterinary Business which means you park, call them, they come out to your car and get your pet, you wait in the car, and when they are done with the appointment, they bring your pet back out to you. It works great for our family, its better than waiting in the waiting room, both the Veterinarian and the assistant/receptionist were very friendly. The cost was reasonable and well worth it!”

She’s been my ride or die home girl since 2014 and I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience with a vets office than with Mountain View, from start to finish the entire team were excellent and exceeded expectations! The doctor was such a kind warm and caring person and a stellar professional who was honest, fair and generous with her time. I know that no place is perfect but for anyone who loves their pets like family and wants to be confident about them being entreated by staff as you yourself would do…I whole heartedly endorse this vets office. There’s a reason why they’re still here after 30 years and they have such strong reviews. Being a vet is a hard job and can be heartbreaking…the disposition of their staff is a testament of their love and kindness to the animals they serve. A+++”

“We recently had to put our first family dog down who we had since we were 19. We were really concerned with the process and wanted him to have the best, most comfortable care. We had seen other dogs put down at other facilities and were never really impressed with how it was handled. The dog would lay on a thin blanket in a normal vet room and that’s how they got put down. At Tumwater vet they had a whole separate room. It was filled with comfy seats and a comfy couch along with a padded blanket floor for the dog to lay on. They stocked it with snacks and brought out a tray of doggy treats like chocolate and peanut butter and some water. They gave us as much time as needed and provided a free paw or nose print. The lights were dim and once we were ready they gave him a sleeping sedative and then stopped his heart. It was very peaceful and we laid with him for awhile. We were even able to bring our other dog(which they crated for us during the process) in to see him after he passed. All in all the best possible experience we could’ve had for one of the toughest moments for our family.”
