“It's really just a gas station, but it has everything you'd hope to find in a gas station-- and If you're staying at the resort, finding a soda for less than $3 will be hard; finding a Pepsi product might be impossible! The Country Store had what I wanted. :)”

Always love the chance to grab lunch from here or just snacks & drinks. Great selection throughout the store. The hot case always has something delicious staring back at you. They have a really nice takeout menu with a variety of options, and it's available for a huge portion of the day (last time I asked they said 5am-9pm, but that may have changed). All dressings are made in-house. I've tried almost everything on the menu except the pizzs and salads. And, they just added some new items to their menu, so I'm looking forward to trying those out soon.”
“I have very fond memories of this store. I grew up in Shelton 98-2000. I met my biological father for the first time in this store parking lot on June 26, 2000. They've always had the best pizza at the store. My family before year 2000 used to shop here. I have gotten gas here many times.
They used to have a video rental store on the far right end in the late 90s early 2000s. I watched many classic 90's films rented from there. (The Mummy, Space Jam, Bugs Life, and more). This store is just a really awesome place and, a historical site locally.”
“Good place to stop for gas, a bathroom, and grabbing a snack before driving up the Hood Canal on to the rest of the peninsula - not a lot of other solid options until you get to Quilcene for a real bathroom other than some of the state park areas.”

“I was pleasantly surprised with this gas station! Seemed fairly clean, had a decent selection and the bathroom was clean! You do have to make a purchase to use the restroom but we just bought some road-trip snacks and used the restroom. Definitely a good place to stop if you’re driving through!”

“Best selections of snacks I’ve EVER seen at a gas station store. So much candy and salty snacks from around the world. (I’ve driven ~100k miles around the country). James had samples he shared, he opened a bag of Peelable gummy treats to try too. We bought a lot and will return.”
“This is honestly the best Chevron I’ve ever been to. The snack selection is insane… they have everything from the usual chips and drinks to random gems you don’t usually see at gas stations. Super clean inside too. James at the front was really friendly and made the quick stop actually enjoyable. Definitely my new go to spot when I’m in the area!”

“Love this place. Mexican dinner on the patio across the street followed by an ice cream at Union Country Market. So nice to site outside and eat an ice cream on a lazy evening. Great selection, coconut, honey comb, espresso Oreo, all the classics and Kentucky Pie. Good beer and wine selection. Coffee, food & misc sundries too. Very lucky to have this shop in hood canal.”
