“If you’re considering getting a pet bird I highly recommend adopting from NW Parrot Rescue. They are very careful with who they place their birds with and make sure it’s a safe and right fit. Chris provided us with SO much knowledge and tools on proper bird care. We are forever grateful that they chose us to start our journey with Christopher, a 3 year old cockatiel. He is the sweetest boy and we are thrilled he is now a part of our family. The amount of care and love NW Parrot Rescue puts into all their birds is heartwarming and tells us just how much they truly care. I 100% recommend this organization and the work they do.”

Thank you being able to go there and to get help is such a blessing I'm a great gift.”
“I was SO fortunate to obtain a spay appointment from their very limited calendar for my nine-month old kitten last year and I am still awe-struck by the quality and compassion of our experience. Comparing it to my other spay experience with my first cat, Humane Society was friendly, kind, and professional from start to finish. The sutures and operation looked so clean and far less invasive. The staff talked me through aftercare when I picked her up. I didn’t expect to be emotional for such a routine step in pet ownership, but even though I was feeling sensitive, they made it gentle and seamless - I left wanting to volunteer!”

“They have a good variety of food. You didn't want to be there the 1st hour it is very busy with a long line. Limited parking. The auto shop doesn't allow parking and the church next door doesn't either. You can however head through the parking lot to the auto parking lot and wait in a line to park (2 cars at a time). Limited Street parking.”
“Freedom House is an exceptional facility transforming men's lives. Pastor Jim and Lynn, and all the staff, are so caring and biblical. I'm very grateful to them and wish that any man needing recovery would take a year off and join this remarkable ministry. Truly transformative. Blessings to you for you very important work you do so capably.”
“Martha's pantry is a vital service for Clark county people with hiv. There are very few services available for people with hiv in Clark county as most services are centered in Portland which isn't easily accessible from here. The staff are wonderful and very dedicated to the client base.”

“Awesome Program for the Pacific Islander family. I was speechless when I found out this people put their effort to help our people. It did help me to get back on track with what I need. “Long story short” I am grateful and thankful for PICA for coming through, helping me when my husband had surgery past month and admitted twice in one month, no medication & other medical supplies was covered, but I have to paid it off so he can get medicine & supplies through the month. So, later of the the same month my utility bills come pile up and get to the point my final disconnection notice comes in & this is when PICA steps in help me back on track.
One day I set with Johanna my “daughter name sake ”.lol. She had a heart helping our pacific island family. Like I said I didn’t expect anything will be going through but she “ Johanna” made a call next day everything was paid in full. I guess it was God’s timing and I praise Him for coming through his people. Like what my Pastor said “Everyone matters and Jesus He loves each & everyone” & we are all God children”
I am not ashamed to shair this because it is my story to tell. Thank you PICA bless to you all

“Amazing place to get sober and stay sober Katherine UN's the place she will give you a chance to have a roof over your head and volunteer to help feed the homeless which can be very rewarded and it also helps to be able to stay there small price to pay to have a home to go to”
“Excellent place. They have so many fun things to do to help your child build their strengths however they need. It's very comfortable here and all the staff we encountered was so nice. I definitely recommend here for your child's needs.”
“A lot of these posts are old. This is 2023. I've lived here almost 1 year. Personally I like it. I feel very safe and comfortable. It is clean and maintained. Everyplace has there problems but I feel like the Staff does a good job handling things. With this many people living in a complex there are bound to be conflicts. I have never seen any abuse or disrespect. Personality conflicts between tenants is minimal. What do you expect when you put a bunch of old opionated people together?”
“Beautiful people doing wonderful deeds for grateful families like mine! We needed some supplies for about 6 months. We took all remaining supplies (and more) back to the Caring Closet!
Highly recommended!”
