The Waterfront Renaissance Trail is a beautiful and well-maintained park along the Columbia River in Vancouver, WA. This scenic, flat, and mostly paved trail runs for approximately 4.5 to 5 miles. It is a very well-maintained park with lots of shade, offering lovely places to sit by the river. The walkway is big enough for bikes, joggers, and casual strollers, and is a dog-friendly place to walk. Amenities include a playground, plenty of picnic benches, and ample free parking at different points. The trail passes through the beautiful, newly developed Vancouver waterfront area near restaurants, and offers spots to access the river's edge.
Wide and smooth walkway along Columbia river-highly recommend! Walkway around the downtown is not very pleasant: many stops at stop lights and is somewhat confusing which way to go.

Great waterfront path with access to the river beach...this is a rocky beach with plenty of room for a blanket if you want to enjoy the scenery. The actual paved path has areas that could use some maintenance and litter cleanup but it was still an enjoyable family Walk.

Easily my favorite park I've seen so far in south Washington
