Cascade Heights Veterinary Clinic has the best staff possible. I had seen Dr. Kathleen Paulson when she worked at another clinic. I have transferred my two cats to her clinic. It is more convenient to my home and I appreciate the family - like atmosphere at Cascade Heights. Dr. Paulson is a very knowledgeable and professional doctor. I trust what she tells me and she is conscious of the difficulty some owners may have in paying high vet costs. She will explain her decisions carefully and present alternatives if needed. I am overjoyed to have this clinic in our neighborhood.”

“I wanted to leave a review to specifically highlight an employee named Sarah (or Sara, I couldn't make out the spelling on her name tag).
Yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of seeing a deceased cat alongside the road on the way to work. I wrapped it in some towels and put it in a box til after work when I could go get it scanned for a chip.
I wasn't sure where to go but decided to go to South Seattle Veterinary Hospital. I typically go to my local vet for this but they aren't open on Sundays so I had to do it then.
I went inside without the cat to ask the front desk person if it was possible to check a deceased cat for a chip. The woman at the desk, Sarah was wonderful and very sweet. She told me the options available for what to do with the cat after it was scanned, and let me try to use the scanner myself, but I wasn't sure I was doing it right and asked if maybe she or someone else was available to do it as well to make sure I wasn't missing something.
Even though there was no obligation to, Sarah kindly brought me and the cat into a spare room and very methodically and carefully checked the cat for a chip. There wasn't one. She went above and beyond what I would have expected; asked if I was alright, gave me her condolences, asked if there was anything else she could help me with before I went home. On my way out, she went ahead of me and opened the door so I didn't have to balance the box on my leg to open it myself.
It's a horrible situation all around, and wasn't easy, but Sarah made it a lot more bearable with her compassion and kindness. I wanted to leave a review to make sure to recognise her and her dedication. Thank you, Sarah, for making last night easier.”

“We’ve used and been happy with Fair Isle’s primary care for our animals since we moved to the island, but was prompted to write this after our experience needing them urgently. Our dog had an accident and was injured in the evening, I was sure we would have to go off island for an emergency vet trip, but we called fair isle and the on call vet said they could be at the clinic in 5 minutes and to bring her in. We went in and received compassionate, competent, and patient care from the vet and tech who came in. We were patched up and back home less than 2 hours after the accident. Being able to get such an excellent care so quickly was a huge relief and hopefully gives pup the best chance for recovery. So grateful!”
