“The owners were pretty nice, and it is also the closest convenient store that I found around the area. If you are going to Trout Lake in the winter time, if you need to buy vegetable or fruits somewhere, buy it before going there.”

“The gas pumps all say self service, something they had to institute because they can't find anyone willing to work. Sad state of the times we are in and this is happening everywhere, not just gas stations. Now, some people like and want to pup their gas and are angry that it's not the norm in Oregon. I'm not one of them! I've zero desire to get out of my car and pump gas. I'm happy to get out of my car to get a Starbucks or pick up food, something most of the people who want to pump their own gas won't do. It's a paradox. Anyway, back to the review! As I was about to get out of my car to try and figure out the pump, I was surprised to see an attendant approaching my window. He said he'd be happy to pump the gas which i Didn't hesitate to say, yes, fill it up, please. He explained how they can't get help, if they hire people, especially younger workers, after they get their first paycheck they quit. Then sometimes try to come back. I've been going to this gas station for years as the location is super convenient, just a few feet from the I-84 entrance or exit and on the way to White Salmon. I can't fault them because they can't find or retain help as most all service industries are dealing with the same. Retailers, restaurants, farmers market vendors, lifeguards, grocery stores - it's happening everywhere. Prices were better than any other station at $4.39 for regular which is $4.49 in Troutdale and still over $5 in Portland. They also have a food mart but I've never had a reason to go in there.Located next to McDonalds and Starbucks, near Best Western across from the Marina.”

“This gas station may not have the best gas prices in town but they do go the extra mile for their customers. The only place in town that will clean your windshields.”

“Had to comment, given the negativity of the only other comment. I love the Rite Aid pharmacy. The male pharmacist, Ben Vorster, is always extremely helpful, counseling us on best over-the-counter options, and answering all questions about prescriptions and/or vaccines. Diane Kawachi is also unfailingly polite and professional. I would guess that this is true with other pharmacies in town, but Rite Aid's crew has given me no reason to look elsewhere.”

“Lowest price for regular along our route. Easy to pull in RV and fuel up. The pumps are now all self serve. In order to get your loyalty rewards for Safeway you need your card with number to enter at the pump. Easy place to walk the dog. There is a DQ right next door. Oh so tempting.”

“Cheapest gas in town, friendly attendants, and a good location. I really should check out the beer selection next time i fill up. Definitely not run by "crack heads"”

This Walgreens, in the heights, serves this purpose. It's a large store, clean, wide aisles, everything is organized. I especially like checking out the seasonal items. Today I picked up a small igloo cooler for just $15 and an extra fold up chair so I'm ready for the summer concerts on the waterfront. No comments on pharmacy as I have never used their service. But Walgreens is so much more than a pharmacy and I'm happy with the other services they offer and items they stock. Huge parking lot out front. In same area as Ace Hardware and Rosauer's making it a convenient stop.”
