Before I begin, it’s important to note that while the gym’s equipment is good, this review focuses on the management and policies, which may not concern everyone. The gym exemplifies poor customer service, employing a strategy that feels like entrapment and extortion. Management, specifically the General Manager and Training Manager, displays unprofessionalism and arrogance, showing no interest in addressing negative feedback unless it’s a 5-star review.Customer service drastically declines after signing up. Issues or requests for assistance go unaddressed, highlighting a lack of genuine customer care. A particularly egregious policy is the non-refundable nature of prepaid personal training sessions, which are lost regardless of circumstances, including medical ones. This policy feels especially exploitative, as it requires repurchasing already paid-for sessions without consideration for the customer’s situation. The management’s approach is transactional and lacks empathy, refusing to provide contact information for higher-ups or acknowledge the absence of expiration terms in contracts for prepaid sessions. This review, stemming from personal experience and failed attempts to resolve these issues through respectful inquiries, underscores the importance of carefully reviewing agreements and underscores a broader disregard for customer loyalty and service.Exploring avenues like the Better Business Bureau, small claims court, or social media to seek justice, this situation transcends monetary concerns, becoming a matter of principle. Unfortunately, attempts to contact the owner were blocked by the team, possibly as per instruction, further illustrating the gym’s customer service failures. Be forewarned and avoid this place if you are looking at interaction or engagements of any kind with the staff members. I am donating my money ( almost 500$) these folks decided not reimburse ( as expired prepaid funds for the training ) except these are last people who deserve a donation.

Considering Gold’s Woodinville? Know that they are great at sales. The facility is 3/3.5 on 5. The junior staff is fine. I discontinued my membership because of unscrupulous policies and behavior of gym management that shows disregard for customers. The feeling I get is like they are doing us a favor by making these facilities available. Last year when we originally picked this gym, it was so our son could swim there. A month into our membership - they changed the swim team and swim classes schedule such that it was impossible for a school going child to get free swim lanes until after 8pm!! I brought this up many times with the shift managers, they said they’d look into it, nothing has changed till date (March’24). We tried to make the schedule work but it was unrealistic. Other reviewers have shared the same challenges with the swimming pool, so we aren’t the only ones.Nevertheless, I continued using the gym for my own training but we’ve been at the receiving end of other unprofessional behavior on part of gym management over the last 10 months. I don’t want to patronize an establishment that doesn’t care about its customers.

Nice location (except limited parking - & all on slope, so had to worry about my car getting dinged). Nice staff the first time we went in to look around at midday (c 1:30-2pm) on a Fri. However, we returned after work that Wed (6:30ish) to try at a realistic time and to check out wait times etc…The kids at the desk this time wanted to charge us, so we left. Not sure if we will be returning just yet - didn’t get the friendly vibe we initially felt. Ashame as we would’ve likely signed up that second trip had we not been denied opportunity. Many places give you more than 1 day pass to feel comfortable about committing. We are now trying the 5-day pass at Columbia Athletic club (which is higher priced, but more accommodating).

Good swim lessons. Kids enjoy open pool on weekends. Would love to see more group classes.

Clean establishment. Friendly staff. Way less crowded than 24hr gym. I'd rather pay more to not have to wait for equipment, even during rush hour.Haven't used the pool yet, due to my commute situation, but I hope too soon. They have a great set of large grip, heavy dumbbells up to 120s (which is a nice goal for military press and hammer curls etc).

I like this gym for a lot of reasons! It's close to my work, parking is easy and they have a variety of classes that I enjoy. One huge plus for me is that it has an interesting floor plan with a lot of different spaces for different work outs.

Can't go 4 or higher. They stopped providing towels and the steam room has been MIA for over 2 years.... Too many swim team members not following the rules. Staff not caring.

This place has recently went through the worst "transformation". Friendly staffs are gone. Policy changes without communication to members. I drove up from Bellevue with my kids for a swim, only to be told kids' swim hours had been changed "not long ago" (his exact words). I was so fed up I've decided to cancel my membership. Even with cancelation, you have to wait/pay 45 days. I joined in July 2023, it was not bad. Strangely how things to turn upside down in half a year.

I hate this gym. 2 stars because it’s better than the 24 hour fitness down the street, but if you’re under 5’3” you WILL NOT be able to bench or have the squat rack at a comfortable height for setting up, and all of the leg press machines have a gross curve on them. Mind you, I’m 5’2.5” and the leg press machines don’t go deep enough for a true leg press. This is an aesthetic body builder gym, not a power lifting gym. Also, the customer service from the hours of 5am- 7am is flat out rude. First time trying out the gym I asked the “personal trainer” Steve if the gym had a 35lb. bar that could be used for Olympic style lifting and he said “I don’t know.”Today (1/21/2024) I went to let staff at the front desk know that the third floor prone leg curl machine weight is shaking and wavering on the track with the initial pull and coming down release back to neutral- which makes for an unstable lift. Boy at front desk said “that sounds like a you problem” and stared at me like I was bothering him. Just can’t win with a gym in this area. I didn’t want to pay $85/ month so I signed up for the annual contract at $65/ month. I’m stuck with this bummy gym with subpar equipment for a year now. Very upsetting.
