Signing into the app was the only frustrating part of the move. It was very buggy and never seemed to work the same way twice. Sometimes it wanted a password. Other times it wanted two-factor authenitcaion. Sometimes it want to send the 2FA to my phone, other times to my email. Besides that, making our reservation was easy, changing our reservation was easy, check-in at the store was easy, our move was super easy, late-night unattended drop-off was super easy. I hope we don't move for another 20 years, but if we do, I would choose U-Haul.

I scheduled a hitch install and waited 3 weeks. On the day of the install, the mechanic had my car back in the bay a whole 10 minutes and then came back to tell me the bad news. He informed that my car frame was too rusted to trust with a hitch. It was an lame excuse, to be honest. My undercarriage has light rust but is absolutely fine. The problem is this installer didn't want to go through the extra 2 steps of lowering my exhaust to install the hitch. It took me and a friend 1 hour total to install it. This rep should've just been honest and said he was just to sorry to go through the extra steps.

Awesome experience. I showed up to get a hitch installed, but the installer called in sick. Steve stepped up and sent me to another store so I could achieve my goals. Good job Steve! Thanks!

This U-Haul is at a good location and the prices are reasonable. The issue I have with them is the employees lack customer service skills. Zach is the only employee that expressed a actual concern for my needs. The 2 older gentlemen that is employed at this location lacks customer service skills and actually leaves you with the impression that they don't want to be bothered. More training is needed in regards to customer service.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. I returned the trailer after hours and used the app which was very easy to use, it guided me step by step on what to do. Will definitely rent from here again.

With the assistance of the "Moving Help" labor this is the most logical kind of move. To use any of the subcontracted trucking movers will cost you 10 times if not more, and you'll have more damaged and missing items than is humanly possible to tolerate. Made that mistake twice in many moves. Stick to U Haul and their 'Moving Help' loaders and unloading personnel.

The man at the counter said he could not install a hitch earlier than the appointment because he was the only one working. Ok I get it. But when I went back into the store there was a Second Gentleman working. WTH? Why lie and be rude about it in the first place?

5 trucks and 2 vans on the lot ALL DAY and said "we don't have any available". Equipment not mechanically maintained. Deal with these lazy burrows at your own risk. I highly doubt they will get out of there chairs to help you in any way. My advice, go to Enterprise at the airport.

I was moving from WV to VA & they didn't have the size truck I requested available. So they put me in a bigger truck, which turned out to be a life saver, for the same price as the original. The staff was very friendly & even showed me the truck right before closing, in the rain. Will definitely use their service again!

Posting for my husband:"Would give zero stars if possible. I went to this location to have the hitch recommended by Reese Hitch for my truck installed. I called ahead to ensure that the correct hitch was available and that they were expecting me, and proceeded to drive an hour one way to get it installed. After giving them my keys, I had to wait 2.5 hours. While I was waiting I asked whether everything was going alright with the installation, and I was told by the owner/installer that he has big hands and that it's a tight space and he didn't know why these hitches were made like this. He said if it were another hitch it would have been a 20 minute installation. After the install was finally complete and I started to drive home, I noticed that the turn signals were blinking unusually fast. I checked and the turn signals were non operational. I returned to this location and showed them the problem, and them a second chance to complete the job correctly since the first attempt failed. I waited another 20 minutes, and when I was given my keys back, I was told that the hitch install directions from the manufacturer told the installer to reposition the ground between the frame and the hitch receiver. But clearly that did not work, so instead a self-tapping screw was used to embed the ground to the truck bed frame support. When I left, the turn signals seemed to be working fine, but 2 nights later, while driving at night on a highway, all the lights in the back of the car stopped working, including turn signals and break lights. Now my only vehicle is not operational. I had to cancel my Memorial Day plans and now I have to wait until tomorrow, and rush to find some way to make it drivable again as soon as possible."

Very poor customer service! Manager refuses to help anyone. I’m not sure why he is even there. Not coming back here ever again!!!

Store opens at 7:00 we get there at 7:10. Can’t rent haul til 8:30 guys on light duty won’t let us help hook it up !! We have to be in Ohio by certain time . If your open you should be able to get a uhaul !!!! So if you can avoid this rental place they don’t care about there customers at all .
