The rooms be clean and cozy, with beds soft enough to make even the most battle-hardened buccaneer sleep like a babe. The crew be friendly and helpful, always ready to lend a hand or offer a recommendation for the local treasures. A hearty breakfast awaits in the mornin’, with enough fuel to keep a pirate goin’ all day. The location be right near the springs, makin’ it a perfect launch point for shore leave adventures. If you’re a health conscious individual, I wouldn’t stay here. Coffee is inorganic, VOC wall paint, high EMF’s and insane electrical fields near head of bed due to lack of strategic working, shielding, etc. ironically, wi-fi is incredibly unreliable and shoddy, even in the lobby. Tub and sink water is chlorinated; sheets are washed with chlorine bleach. A/C units are not serviced to prevent mold; all rooms smell musty and moldy. Several in our party all awoke with headaches due to mold poisoning. Bar soap is mostly sodium tallowate base, which is great, but they have benzyl chemicals in it- not all natural. Breakfast is full of glyphosate and inorganic, sugary options. Eggs look fake, low quality bacon/sausage with nitrites/nitrates. Breads and other items cooked with RBD seed oils. Location isn’t terrible, but there are no sidewalks, so don’t plan on walking to town. There are no blue blocking lights and bulbs appear to be LED, but definitely not full spectrum and there are no AC>DC converters built in.
The back area is decently big grassy field that is relatively diverse with local plants/weeds, so at least they don’t spray herbicides. No good place to see sunrise or to engage in sun gazing or solar worship.
The only semi- positive thing I have to say is that the lobby does have a Berkeley Springs water dispenser, but the only dispenser options are refrigerated or heated. Water is in plastic, not glass, so you’re still sucking back microplastics and nanoplastics and destroying Spleen and Kidney wellness because water is cold.
Hotel staff were decent, but not exactly friendly, outgoing, and hospitable.
No elevator, so if you stay on the 2nd floor, you’ll have to take the stairs- keep this in mind in case you want to bring a cooler or other things.
All in all, perfectly suitable for muggles, especially muggles who bring pets. That said, like almost all hotels, it contributes massively to giving its patrons chronic health conditions. If you have no awareness about all the toxic elements of the modern age, you’ll probably think it’s perfectly acceptable, but if you’re health conscious and attempting not to vastly overshadow the health benefits of the nearby springs, I would keep looking; though based on our experience of the town, even the health food store is full of processed junk advertised to folks with more money than brains.

Check in was smooth.. Once in the room I noticed some spots in the bathroom that were not at all clean. Front desk person immediately took care of it. I would have expected her to offer another room but I didn't push it.
The bed was nothing special but it was comfortable enough. I don't think I had neighbors but I did have people above me and I knew every time they moved. Breakfast was good. And so were the bathroom towels. They were thicker than expected.

Constant kids running in the room above mine for 3 days in a row. Room was not vacuumed all week. Bed was only made 1 day out of 4. Towels delivered 2 days. Breakfast was good.

Berkeley Springs is a wonderful town. We stayed at this location to rest up for Luray Caverns. The hotel is a little dated, but is clean. The staff are very pleasant. Our room was very clean. We slept well.

Spring beds in 2025 is crazy. This was the most uncomfortable bed I never got any sleep on. The shower drain was clogged with hair, silver fish bugs in the room, stained furniture, noise from the room above me all night and early morning which didn’t matter really if I’m honest because guess who wasn’t sleeping anyway? Booked this hotel for work and the company paid but you couldn’t get me to stay here again even if it was free. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Three day visit just prior to Memorial Day weekend. Location is just amazing. Berkeley Springs is a quaint location. Amazing river and outdoor activities. This hotel, although in a great location, was just slightly above average. My bathroom was not entirely clean when checking in. Oh, and what’s up with vacuuming the room next to me at 0830 in the morning?!? The shampoo was the smallest dosage container that I’ve ever seen 😂. Over all, the stay was nice and the rate was very good.

This hotel has a good breakfast, is family friendly, newly renovated and clean, but the experience leaves a lot to be desired. The beds were horrible, spring loaded and broken down. Noise carried through this hotel from everywhere, people walking above, dogs barking in every direction, even people taking. No elevator.

We stayed here two months ago and it was clean, with excellent service. This week, the place was filthy and the staff had a bad attitude. We stayed 5 nights and they cleaned our room once. It’s as if there’s no management running the hotel. It has turned into a flea bag motel. Very disappointed.
