“I recently had body work done on my car by Shawns Auto and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The owner is very professional, understanding, and welcoming. He told e step by step how he was going to fix the huge scratch down my driver side. The checkout process was smooth, and easy less than I thought it would have coast. Plus the owner will give you a good idea how much it will coast. Also my car was done in a week. My car is in excellent condition, better than how I bought it. “This place was awesome! I was traveling across several states and my exhaust came apart. The mechanic worked us in and fixed the problem quickly and thoroughly. He was very fair in pricing. He even checked his work and found a 2nd problem which he showed me. He fixed that too. My car went from sounding like a hotrod to sounding like a normal car. I am so grateful I found this place. “The only place in the area that will take insurance claims with Allstate or any of its subsidiaries. The person that hit me had an Allstate affiliated insurance and I couldn't find a place in Buckhannon that would accept the work as soon as they found out who the insurer was.Great service, weekend drop off was very convenient. Was updated regularly with pictures as the vehicle went through the stages of repair. They said it would take two weeks and that's when I got it back.I also left a jacket, boots, and various items in the passenger seat. They were neatly folded and placed when I picked up. Nothing to do with the quality of repairs, but I was impressed they were neater than I'd left them.Rear bumper and hatch were crumpled and it looks like new now. Would use again.The only downside was a 3 month wait for appointment, but I can't fault them for that because it was the same story with every other garage.Services: Painting”
