“ended up booking this hotel at the last minute after deciding not to stay at my original reservation, and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience.
The location was convenient, check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk attendant was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay.
Overall, it was a great last-minute find. I appreciated how smooth the experience was from start to finish, and I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town.”
“We booked a room to meet up with friends at a midway point between our homes. The Brass Pineapple was a great choice! The hostess is welcoming, breakfast was excellent. It's clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.”
“Wast bad but really needs updated. Bed blankets remind me of a tux shirt. The rooms were not much different than any other hotel really. The restaurant needs a complete make over. I ordered a steak and the flavor was 100% fantastic but it was so tough that I couldn't cut it. But I loved it.”
“Good cheap place to stay for a solo traveler. The place was clean, felt safe, the bed and chair were comfy, and lighting was good in the room and bathroom.
The biggest downside was that housekeeping didn't pay too much attention to detail. There was a towel missed on the back of the door and I had to find the alarm clock on the floor behind the recliner. Not a big deal especially for the great price.
If the office is locked, ring the doorbell and someone well let you in.”
“After losing power during single digit temperatures, we arrived at Hampton Inn after Midnight on a busy night with most of the hotel full and staff surely exhausted. We received a warm welcome and consistently excellent service throughout our stay. All staff were extremely friendly and offered us assistance in any way they could with extra waters, blankets, towels, pillows to help make our stay comfortable during this stressful time. We slept comfortably and enjoyed sizzling hot showers which were much needed. The free continental breakfast and hot coffee were also great.
Highly recommend!”
“Comfortable room I was lucky to get one right next to the parking lot. Noisy neighbors. Can do much about it and bored staff. Nevertheless it is good value for money, great location beautiful backdrop of the mountain send the river and i had a good stay.”

“From the moment off walking through the door and getting some much needed rest the front desk made it very comfortable and checking out the next morning was even better with a wonderful breakfast. Definitely will be back”
“Great location. Very clean hotel. Rooms are a little dated, but comfortable. Staff were very kind and attentive. I phoned with a question about a week before and the fact that I have celiac and must adhere to a very strict gluten free diet came up. They made a note on our account and said they would make sure to have food available for me. It was a busy week and I forgot about our conversation, but they didn’t! On our first morning there the chef was waiting for me. He was able to provide a delicious gluten free breakfast including a breakfast parfait. Everything was very clearly labelled which I appreciated. We do a lot of traveling, and I found hotels in other countries to be great at labelling for allergens, but within North America, not so great so it was very refreshing to see how much care they put into everything. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

“They have the basics down right. A nice room to sleep in, staff is reasonably helpful, the breakfast is sufficient.
Nothing special, but I am happy with it.”
“Recently remodeled rooms, I've stayed here a few times. Ask for a room on the front side away from the highway, easy to get into Charleston, Hardings family restaurant right next door, you have to drive past it to get to hotel (Hardings closed Monday usually open evenings only)”
