This location has the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a bank. I loved the locations in Summersville, WV and Ruckersville, VA. Every single person I've encountered in the drive thru at the downtown Charleston location has had a rude tone, act like it's a bother that you're actually there, and barely give you time to speak. I've been there during various times of day and it's always the same. I highly suggest looking elsewhere if you want a bank with good customer service. I am looking for other options as well.

Watch your overdraft fees they will charge you for everything that pending $36 for everyone, even though you have already paid for the transaction, that’s not customer friendly and it can break you if it happens and they don’t care!

I wanted to open a bank account with a local bank. I have a decent amount of savings I planned to move over, however I had a lot of questions first. When I met with an account manager she didn't even offer me a seat, then proceeded to type while I asked questions as if I wasn't important. She simply handed me a piece of paper and couldn't answer any questions I had. To top it off when I was inquiring how to transfer my funds as my current bank isn't local she got an attitude with me because I was concerned about the high wire transfer fee. I simply walked out, apparently they don't need any more customers and being aware of financial charges is a no no.. they're clearly only interested in customers that will allow them to charge fees without concerns

If you need a good bank with a reliable app and website do NOT choose this bank. Just look at the reviews of their app on playstore. It's been an ongoing problem and they won't address or fix it. Constantly have to re-enter my password, can't use my biometric fingerprint sensor, constantly have to verify via text message and reenter my phone number. Clearly the IT department at this bank has no clue how to work on this app and it's problems. Time to either retain or replace them! I'm ready to close my account and switch banks.

It took me a while to get used to parking a drive-thru when I switched bank locations. This one is so much larger. But really like the tellers and bank in general. They're always very helpful and professional with me. Which that hospitality is very important when you're dealing with something as personal and integral as your money.

The worst service we've ever experience. We've been with United for 20+ years. Their service has been going downhill anyway but after the mistreatment and rudeness rained upon us Tuesday, we are moving to Chase! No need to bore you with details. Suffice it to say, it takes a lot to upset me and my husband is nearly unflappable but that rude, uninformed and uneducated girl sealed the deal for us. When I asked the bank manager we ended up with what is really the only difference between banks and he said SERVICE. I said Bingo! Your girl FAILED and after today, we're finished with United!!!

Should have an option for zero stars. I've been trying to get a pay off letter for my mortgage and keep getting told "we don't do that"...what? Also was told that 1098's are not sent out if less than $600 in interest was paid...Really?
