I would rate a zero. I was sent a reminder of my appointment in August via email. I scheduled for for three months later due to no appointment availability. When I arrived, I was told I had no scheduled appointment. I was disappointed, and I feel like there were no efforts made by the front desk supervisor to help. He was rude in saying "you waited three months for an appointment you don't have" in response to me asking when I could be seen. I decided not to reschedule and to get care at a more customer friendly provider.

Dr. Sinclair and Katie are excellent. I went from not being able to see the clock on my nightstand to 20/15 within 48 hours of having LASIK. I only missed 1/2 day of work and was able to drive the next morning. If you can afford it, do it!

We have a special needs son that wears glasses and I took him to his appointment today. Taisha Hayhurst checked him prior to the doctor coming in to see him. She was absolutely wonderful with him, very patient and done her absolute best by him. I was very impressed by her to say the least. Wv eye consultants is very blessed to have her working there.

Would rate 0 if I could.Didn't get to go to the doctor. There ad on internet says they take Medicaid and when I talked to person on phone she said they didn't.I asked how much for just an I exam....she answered me $239.90 yes you read that right! That's ridiculous. Lost my business and will not recommend to friends or family.

There was a decent wait for me to sign in. The computers were down, or updated servers weren't working quite right during my visit. The ladies at the front desk were decent.The wait time in the lobby want too long. The doctor and they assistant in the back seemed knowledgeable and friendly.My major issues are with the lady "helping" me pick out a pair of glasses. She was not helpful, didn't answer any of my questions, was distracted, and then quite rude by the end."I greeted her first, and she was just, meh. I asked about a particular shape of glasses, and she didn't help me at all with that. I asked her about prices, she didn't help me with that. She literally acted like anything or anywhere would be better than helping me at the time. I ended up with glasses I'm not happy with. The shape is definitely not what I like, but I guess they will do for now.I'll order a pair offline. That way, I can search with parameters and find exactly what I'm looking for quickly, without rude customer service, not to mention, so much cheaper!She really ruined the experience for me, unfortunately! Everyone else seemed great! But she was the last I seen that day, and it really stuck with me. I'd hesitate to recommend.The selection of eye glasses weren't what I was looking for either. They did have high-end selections, like Jimmie Choo, and a few others. I can't recall right now. But the frames overall shapes throughout their entire collection didn't have much range. I prefer more of a rectangle over large and round. They had some, that I'd call more like square. A variety of all shapes and sizes would be nice.

Called them cause my insurance said that they were an in network provider that they accepted my insurance, stayed on the phone for 10 mins before I got a very rude unprofessional operator who told me flat out that they don't accept my insurance. Very unprofessional! Trash.

I can not express how great our experience was. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. Everyone was so nice and all info was explained thoroughly. Highly recommend WV Eye Consultants.

Everyone Is Right. There's one Lady on the Phone that is Soooooo Rude, and it seems that her Profession is turning People away, rather than getting them in to be seen. This is edited because I've had to call back a couple times for different things, and I've come to find that the other people I've talked to have been very nice and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask for another customer representative!It Sucks that with Medicaid, there's Really Not many other Options for places to go for an eye exam. And the only way it's covered, is if your doctor refers you. I'm honestly grateful that I have my appointment!

The front desk people are kinda of rude. The three girls in the front make me not want to come back. The exam and overall appt was wonderful. Might wanna get some friendly people in the front. Instead they are checking there phones that they have in the drawer.

I really like the place. Everyone was very friends. I didn't have to wait very long and the eye test was great. They make you feel very comfortable and they all made you feel at home. I believe that's gonna to be my regular eye doctor lol. But there was only one bad thing about that place. I need glasses lol

I've had a terrible experience with this place. Every appointment I have had I wait a very long time on the doctor. The day of my surgery, I was notified I was going to have to pay the entire amount and was never informed of any of that before. I had PRK and am very unhappy with the results. I have a huge glare with lighting in the dark and have to wear glasses to correct them it. No other options to help, and just "hope it gets better."

Hello, I have been a patient of Dr. Chris Stansbury for several years. Over the years Dr. Stansbury and Crystal, his assistant, have provided me with nothing but the BEST SERVICE AND OPTICAL TREATMENT EXPERIENCES that I have ever had. I LOVE THEM!!! Dr. Stansbury is now treating me for my dry eye condition with IPL Therapy. After 3 treatments, I am really beginning to see a significant difference. I have suffered from dry eyes for many years with rounds and rounds of different eye drops, antibiotics and other treatments. After my completion of the IPL Therapy, the goal is to just have a follow-up treatment one time a year. I really do believe that will happen given the great progress that I am now having with the treatments. Dr. Stansbury and Crystal have both been absolutely fantastic with explaining the process and making me feel very comfortable and at ease during the treatments. They are truly beginning to feel like part of my family!!! I can't imagine going anywhere else for my optical needs. . . . . THEY ARE THE BEST!!

My daughter took my son his appointment at WV Eye Consultants yesterday for his appointment. I feel they took advantage of my 14 yr old son because he was in the exam room by himself. He was not there for a contact fitting he just needed glasses. Though they did a contact fitting and charge us an extra $40 even though he didn’t need contacts for another 2 to 3 months from now. When my daughter asked them why they did a contact fitting they said well we just went ahead and did his fitting because he would have had to came back in 2 months anyway, I don’t know what to tell you it’s on here is what she said. I feel like that was a ploy to charge extra for something he did not need at the time. They should not have done a contact fitting and I feel that they took advantage of the situation to charge for a service that he did not need. If this is how you all operate a business I think we need to take our business elsewhere.

Just got off the phone with the Summers street office. Unfortunately, they don't accept my insurance. I told the receptionist that they were listed on the project master list of providers. I was referred by my sister in law...only difference is OUR insurance. Go figure. No worries though. I can see right through the looking glass! I did inform the project manager and she said it's the first time she's hearing about it?? Thanks WV Consultants for making me feel humiliated. I'm sure someone on my list will provide me service! Please don't bother me with a response...no need!!!

Set up and appointment for a new patient exam. I show up at 3:25 for a 3:30 appointment and they tell me I’ve been canceled. This is a Monday appointment and I was called on Friday by staff to verify that I would be there for the appointment. Refused to see me on this visit and offered to put me on next week for me to take yet another day from my job to go out of my way to their office. My appointment was canceled without my knowledge they did not inform me that they canceled me and then refuse to see me yet if you miss an appointment or are late they charge you $30 fee. Absolutely terrible experience and will not recommend to anyone!
