Tellers are always helpful and friendly. Spacious lobby makes waiting easy.

AVOID!! They behave as though your money belongs to them once it is in their bank. They literally retracted checks that were cashed using every excuse possible to prevent large amounts of money from leaving their bank. I don’t know how this is not illegal. They even ignored approved power of attorney on file at their bank to pull back funds deposited at another bank with way better interest rates. This occurred multiple times over six weeks that almost cost us a loss of funds. They also refused to acknowledge my sisters power of attorney on a trust account they setup wrong then lied for three years stating the account could not be accessed nor funds removed when her husband is battling stage 4 brain cancer and her son battling stage 3 brain cancer and they desperately needed access to the funds for the “health and welfare” account. Finally one of the brothers who was wrongly put on the account with equal access instead of just as a approver or whatever a trust calls someone in the family who’s to make sure the money is spent according to the trust, learned the account was a checking account. For years Truist told them the account was not anything they could just withdraw from. They denied funds from a brain cancer patient who is unable to work knowing they deliberately lied and said he ,couldn’t access the account funds that is his money. HORRIBLE BANK institution. Don’t know how they’ve not be sued for illegal practices. They even locked two accounts based on hearsay and gossip about a person being deceased. The first instance they had the wrong persons as the one who died and the second instance they could not provide any legal document to show why the checks were all being denied on the account resulting in each instance appearing to be insufficient funds and causing charges. I could go on and on about all the terrible things we experienced with this bank. They cost themselves the account funding which we had intended to remain there. Instead it was all withdrawn and not returned as originally planned.

They charge you for cashing a check that comes from them.

They do what they can do. Banking online is never as good as in person.

Contradictory policies. Terrible customer service above the branch level. This institute is a walking class-action lawsuit waiting to happen.

This is the worst bank I have ever encountered. They take pride in causing people problems. The old grey-haired lady is the most nastiest person I have ever met in my life. It's not what you say it's how you say it and she is a disgusting person. I bet she got to the top of her career by stepping on everyone.

During the pandemic they were everything but helpful. They make up rules as they go. They will go out of their way to make your day difficult. The people need a bank that sympathizes with our needs. Not try to make life hard. If your 1st instinct is to make problems for your customers. Your are trash, as the other review states!

IF I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is awful. They will lie and say they can't cash your check when there is no problem. Downtown is just as bad as the Bridgeport. Its just this area. Other branches are courtious and they go above and beyond. Horrible people running this bank!

Wouldn't cash my handicap clients check for cash on his joint account with payee. They claimed they had to have both signatures on the back when it was already signed by 1 account holder on the front.
