This Internet provider is a joke. I called to see how much it would be to start up service.
But then just then decided I was not going to switch my service to them and keep my current service. So I told the gentleman on the phone never mind i didn't want frontier.
He said OK I understand and I appreciate you calling.
Then A 1/2 an hour later. I get a message from frontier stating that I was receiving service on the 23rd of this month. I have since been trying to contact them and can't get a single person on the phone. I hate to tell the guy who shows up here to go somewhere with hisself but i am gonna have to. Please dont go to them.

I would not use this company. I signed up two weeks ago and tried to shut down service the day after I signed up and they put in the equipment because I wanted to put the service on hold for a vacay, but unable to reach anyone to hold service. I wish it were possible to to leave a negative 10!

After speaking with local offices, many of these reviews hold true. The local technicians are great but otherwise this company leaves a lot to be desired. The woman in the Clarksburg office was nothing short of unprofessional and lacking in compassion. It was obvious that she had no sense of settling my frustrations. She just wanted to get me off of the phone. Do better frontier. This area deserves better.

After having to fight with sudenlink because my service wasn't working properly. I decided to switch to frontier mor my internet service the first few years I had no trouble out of it but all of the sudden out of the blue it turned to crap going out everyday and being slow it's definitely not the high speed I originally had if I had a choice I'd go with a different internet service

A paper cup and string would be better than what we have and pay for!

Frontier is a joke, provides NO customer service, will NOT allow you to speak with a supervisor or anyone in charge. Their technicians in the field, WHEN you can get an appointment with one (they try every way to AVOID sending a technician to your home), are VERY GOOD, but it takes multiple days, calls, waiting on hold, to get one scheduled. Their Internet service is ridiculous, and they refuse to upgrade my area. Will change as soon as I can find another provider that services my area. DO NOT USE FRONTIER IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE AVAILABLE TO YOU.

Sorry to read of the experiences of others. Within 24 hours of ordering service online, a pair of knowledgeable, friendly and professional technicians hooked us up to our area's new fiber network. So far, so good.

We pay for top of the line internet coverage, we get maybe half of that paid service. If they fix the problem great but unfortunately they wont. Unfortunately there is no other provider in our area i suppose im greatful to have service but i dont appreciate being robbed. When sudden link comes to town im going that direction i advise you do the same they have great service and help.

Frontier is a horrible service provider. Customer service is awful, on the phone for over 1 hour with no resolution. Cancelling my service, and will never use them again. Don't waste your time or money with this company.

If you have a choice in internet providers, run in the other direction as fast as you can. If Frontier is your only choice, be prepared to spend countless hours dealing with "customer careless". I run a business out of Bridgeport, WV. spending $190/mo for ONE land line and internet with the MAX speed of 10Mbps with actual tests running at no more than 3 (Mailing a letter is faster) and it's only because they can get away with it as they're the ONLY choice in the area. The internet goes out consistently on a daily occurrence. Call centers where you have to ask them to repeat themselves every sentence because they barely speak English, with a "we don't care we're raking you over the coals and you cant do anything about it attitude". They miss appointments, make appointments when you weren't even aware, and slip in extra services that you didn't even agree to, and tack on charges even they can't explain... They don't maintain physical phone lines. When it's raining or snowing, the added weight of the tree limbs weigh down the lines and phones go out. it literally happens every time it rains. We were advised to get a business line because they get priority help when lines are down. But if its a consistent occurrence for everyone, whats the use??? This communications monopoly is out of control. Through the Connect America Fund, Frontier receives 238.4million each year to serve 660k homes and businesses. 1.4Billion in total. in order to receive this they only need to provide 10Mbps and upload speeds of 1Mbps. If they're already getting paid to do this WHY ARE WE BEING CHARGED???

One Star is to good for FRONTIER. Absolutely the WORST managed company I have ever deal with. You can never get a hold of a Repair service person. When you do they can’t tell anything except pass your call to another dam automated machine that takes 30 plus mins. to get a live body on the line and even then they are BRAIN DEAD.People of WV need to come together and call your Local and State representative demanding them to bring in other telephone companies to the area.
