“Have had better visits here before. A lot of empty spots on the shelves and a lot of the items that were on the shelves were not clearly marked with prices. However, the workers were as friendly and helpful as usual.”
“I stopped in this pet store because I was early for an event. I found a couple of really good items on sale. The employees were very friendly and helpful and apologetic that it took a few minutes to get the person authorized to do one of the discounts which wasn't a problem at all for me. Also, this pet shop has a table up front with items that are 75% off!! These are items that have been in the store a while but are perfectly good! I found some millipede substrate that I'd been looking for. The store also supports an animal shelter. You can purchase the 75% off pet items and donate them directly to the shelter. You can also donate *any* item in the store that you purchase! This is such an amazing thing. I live about an hour away from this store but I'd make the trip for specialized things that I need. I love this store!”
“Have taken my dog here several times for a bath and nail trimming. She does a great job with him and we will be returning. Good prices and last time it was time to pick up my dog, he was just chillin with the groomer, living his best life stretched out on the floor. Recommend.”
“Made an online order, everything arrived lightning fast.Easy check out and no hassle. Even texted and thanked him for the great service! We'll return in the future for sure!”
“This place is amazing! There aren't any businesses like this anymore! We use propane to heat with so the cost can get up there. However, these folks have kept the same price for several years now while the generic guys who do the trade-in propane have continuously increased pricing even though the average costs hadn't changed. Why pay $26.99 to exchange a 20lb tank for a 15lb refill? These folks fill the tanks to the top for about a dollar per pound so you pay $20 for the same tank that you would exchange for anywhere from $22.99 to 27.99 and get maybe 15lbs. Sure if you are just exchanging one 20lb tank, then Kroger's will do the exchange for $19.99, but you only get 15lbs. It's nice to still have places like this!”
“We bring our boy Astro here probably once every 3-4 months to get groomed. This was the first time that we had a not so good experience because his grooming turned out really wonky. However, the way the situation was handled was top tier customer service and is what will make me come back! After being groomed, I called the manager (Susan) and she offered for me to bring Astro in the very next morning to fix him. Once getting there, it only took about 15-20 minutes to get him looking better. When I went back inside to pick him up, she explained that the person that previously groomed him is newer. I told her it’s totally fine and I get that sometimes things happen. She then told me that I’d be getting a refund for the entire service. I insisted that it was fine but she told me that since I had to drive all of the way back and had a not so good experience, she wanted to do it. She could’ve just fixed Astro and we would’ve been happy with leaving and probably never coming back, but because of Susan’s customer service and willingness to make things right when a mistake was made, we will most definitely be returning back and asking for her next time. Thank you Susan!”
“Great experience while getting a pet. Everybody was so nice and professional. They were knowledgeable about the pet I was getting and helped me get all the right accessories.”
“Staff member ask if we needed help in finding something, he was spot on when we told him what we needed and took us right to it. Was knowledge about what we were looking for”
“Jacie was super helpful to us as we navigated through getting our little Pekingese boy from Petland today! We were excited to bring him home, I'd been looking at him for a couple weeks now.”
“It's a pretty solid pet store, decent supply & feeders. Snakes and Aquatics seem to be kept in decent husbandry. Anoles, geckos, and iguanas on the other hand .. is questionable.
Leopards are kept on repti-carpet, and the iguanas & anoles are cage surfing pretty much every time I go in. But, these are temporary cages.”
