Passing through Elkins, we stumbled upon this shop and were blown away by the retail selection. It's typical a groomer will have some treats or what not, but this space was STOCKED with goodies for both cats and dogs. We couldn’t leave without grabbing a few things, and will definitely drop in again next time we are in town.

Allegheny Veterinary Services

1605 Old Rte 219, Elkins

My kitten was waiting to be fixed at her current vet and the weekend before developed a pyometra- requiring emergency surgery. My vet couldn’t get her in and after calling everywhere I felt helpless as no one could get her in the same day for the surgery. After calling Allegheny Vet. Services, they were able to get us in asap. I drove there and was greeted and reassured by the kindest staff. A couple hours went by and I received a txt that the surgery went well and she was resting. I was able to take her home the same evening. Thank God I found them and so thankful for their quick and compassionate care.

Great BBQ and fast & friendly service! Our first experience with BBQ in this region of the country didn’t turn out so good; but this place knows how to cook some BBQ and I’m glad we gave them a try. Being from the Deep South we know BBQ so we can say the food from Smoked BBQ of Elkins was legit and completely satisfactory.

We celebrated our 1st anniversary with dinner at The Forks as part of a longer WV vacation. Dinner was fantastic. The views and atmosphere were amazing. Our server Sara was perfectly attentive and helpful in making sure our experience was wonderful. If we are ever back in the area I definitely plan to come back!
