Went for an inspection sticker. They took my car into the garage and shut the door. They then came back out and said my control arm was almost rusted through and needed replaced along with my brakes and roters. Also my plate lights were out. Gave me an $800 estimate to have them fix. My dad checked it and there's nothing wrong with the control arms or the knuckles. No rust. My roters are fine and so are my brakes. We replaced the bulbs on the tag light. Took it to another local garage and they said the same- nothing wrong with it. They gave me an inspection sticker. I feel likeElk River Auto thought they could take advantage of me needing a sticker and being a woman.Underhanded and shady attempt to fraud me out of $800 in repairs that weren't even needed.

These folks were absolutely amazing. Me and my friend unexpectedly broke down on the interstate on a roadtrip and weren’t familiar with the area at all. They got recommended to us from another shop we called, got us in right away, told us about a hotel to stay at, gave us the number to a close towing company and diagnosed the car first thing the next morning. Didn’t take them long to figure out the problem either. Very friendly, welcoming and great at what they do. Highly recommend trusting them with your vehicle needs, can’t thank them enough

While the receptionist was really friendly, the guy that was supposed to do my inspection wasn't professional. He didn't even check anything he heard the loud exhaust and wouldn't pass it- and said it needed exhaust work. I took it to another garage the following day and it passed - it just had a loud muffler on it and was supposed to sound that way. When we called back to tell them we were cursed and hung up on. I do not recommend!!!

Best shop around I live in clarksburg and work in Charleston often, anytime I come down here and have any vehicle issues they get me in asap and have fair prices and do awesome work.

Very dishonest people will not stand by the work done and they use vehicle parts only from the garage owners parts store above the garage that's overpriced they will tell you need parts put on you don't need
