Honestly I can’t explain my experience, it was so amazing, where do I even begin. From the moment I walked in, the air was amazing and loved listening to all the crying children. It made me feel like home, the manager was super sweet and gave me a crown and said “go skibidi on the store” as I grabbed items, I felt my aura growing. The sigma workers were cheering me on, I was crying tears of joy shopping at THIS location. I would come back and I recommend this to everyone, even the animals. I’m so wet

The prices seemed a lot higher than other Goodwill stores and some of the staff were quite rude.

Pretty bummed out that the new store removed their fitting rooms. Now you can't try anything on and can only get store credit if you return it. I understand that people steal but it's poor managing when nobody can try anything on. This would prevent returns and customers needing to use store credit. And if the system is down you can't use your credit. Nobody answers the phone either.

The younger white girl with greasy hair and thick glasses is rude and unfriendly. She used to work at Dollar General before they fired her for theft and she was just as rude there.

Great selection, hardworking and friendly staff constantly organizing items, good prices. No changing rooms is a negative but they have a 5 day return policy for items with tags intact and receipt. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and at the end of the day, the quality of staff really made a big difference.

I was really excited to shop at this new location. The store is big and there is a lot of stock. Found a bunch of stuff for a reasonable amount. Only thing is there is no fitting rooms to try anything on. I would have bought way more stuff if we could have tried some things on. Most of the staff was really welcoming except for the long haired gentleman that checked me out. He was kinda rude and he was slamming the hangers that he removed from my clothes on the counter. And he slammed the scanner down on the counter after he scanned my stuff. It just made me feel very uncomfortable. I probably won’t be back for a while. I just didn’t feel very welcome after that.

I don’t guess they know how to answer the phone . I have store credit they wouldn’t let me use the other day because the system was down apparently. I’ve called 4 times in a row with no answer and going down there would be a huge inconvenience if I can’t actually use MY money .

This used to be one of the best thrift stores in the area. Unfortunately, as of lately, they have implemented a new policy where anything with no tag cannot be purchased, it HAS to go to the back to be "reprocessed" and have a tag put on it. I could not wait for it, nor could I hold it. So much for being honest, I could have simply taken a tag off of something else and put it on it. I guess they don't even want to sell things that they receive donated to them, for free. They make it as hard as possible. I even offered to give them $5.00, which is way more than the item would have been (no more than $1.99) They've lost a frequent customer with this idiotic new policy. The Ripley location had it as well and I stopped shopping there because of it, Elkview now as well.

NOT ONLY HAS GOODWILL OUTPRICED THE COMMUNITY THE RETAILER WAS CREATED TO SERVE, THE ELKVIEW WV LOCATION DOES NOT EVER PARTICIPATE IN ANY COLOR CODED REDUCED PRICING BASED ON DAYS IN HOUSE ON FLOOR REDUCED SALES. I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKETO SEE THIS CHANGE IMMEDIATELY CONSIDEERING ALL ITEMS ARE FREE FROM DONATIONS. THIS IS NOT A RETAILER IT IS IN FACT A RESLLER

Awesome Goodwill but the slowest check out ever. I’m going to come over here, and get a job to show you how it’s done. Literally. Way too slow. When you have a huge line backing up it’s time to kick it in. I’ve been a cashier at many retail locations.I notice a lot of cashiers Lolly gag around out here. This store also needs cleaned. The floors are a mess. I’ll do that too.
