“The staff are really wonderful. It's an old country store and it shows. Charming! Only thing is be cautious buying there packaged meats. I'm most certain I got sick from the chicken. It was like half price. Hmm. So I don't buy any meets from them anymore. It most probably was a one unlucky instance. Not referring to the hand sliced meats & cheeses. But the packaged chicken breasts. But the friendly & knowledgeable lady is good for business..”

“My husband and I stopped here while riding the Ivy Branch Trails. We ordered pizza bread and a couple corn dogs for lunch. We also tried the WV dog, which was great! The food was great and the service was phenomenal.”

“4 stars simply because they're the only major food store we have locally. Prices can be outrageous and navigating the store during peak shopping times can be a hassle. The employees are usually helpful and polite. Meat selection can be limited especially during peak shopping times. I would really love for Kroger to get more competition out here other than Walmart.”

“As a lot of people know Dollar general has low in merchandising durable goods kitchen gun with stuff like that bed and bath. Highly recommend Dollar general don't be fooled by other people's advertisements and stuff because Oakland front of you and they will let everybody know”
“Great price on most things, but got to shop around on some products that you can find a better deal. Only 15% of products at this store you can find better deals from another store. Just got to look online to see for yourself. One product I get from another store is TIDE detergent. (LOWE'S) is the best place to get the best deal on that product. Drinks, and very, very few products are hard to find a better deal than @ Dollar General. Just got to shop around.. Thank You Dollar General Daniel Ulbrich”

“Nice, professional and staff is well trained. Recently my grand daughter turned five years old and we ordered her cake from kroger. My son originally ordered white cake and paid at when he placed the order but when he gave me the receipt it showed half and half which was ok mistake. At her party we discovered when we cut it that it was all chocolate which she can not have. She naturally had a melt down as five year olds do. We cut the cake and served it to her guest but unfortunately she had none. The day after her party I phoned kroger about the mistake and the bakery manager immediately offered to make her a completely new cake or refund my money, even after explaining that we had served the cake to our guest. They refunded me the full amount for the cake with no problem. I then purchased a small cake so my grand daughter could have some. Staff is always willing to help any time I have needed and go above and beyond what any other grocery store I have shop at does. Their prices are very good when using your kroger card.”

“I am from Charleston originally but moved away. The one thing that remains constant no matter how long I go in between visits is that Kroger was and still is a solid grocery store. This one is in a convenient location. The lot is easy to access and laid out pretty well. Produce is really good in this location specifically. We bought some tomatoes that tasted like they were grown in our garden. Cashiers were very friendly and seemed like they actually wanted to have a conversation. I was looking for WV craft beer but the selection in Kroger of anything but mass produced, so-called, craft beer is very limited. Not a knock, just information. We visited several Kroger stores during our visit but this one was by far my favorite of all of them.”
