Butcher Block is a locally owned mom and pop butcher market. It is a true gem and a place that is hard to come by nowadays. The owners are good people who remember you, treat customers great, and provide friendly service. The business has a fantastic deli with high quality meats and cheeses like you would find in a bigger city. They hand cut meat to order, trimming it like all good butchers do, and offer fresh cut prime meat. The meat they sell is good and is the best, with the best cuts of beef tenderloin, filet, and prime rib. They are very knowledgeable and care very much about quality. Customers can also find a small grocery section, including items like baking potatoes and potato salad. It is highly recommended.
Great tiny place for a good solid butcher. Got the specific cuts & quality we were looking for, reasonably priced --- this store not for everybody. Basics & specific. Kind & friendly owners. Also have reasonable honey & some wonderful apple butter. We intend to return for the butcher shop.
