Knapps Creek Trout Lodge is a peaceful and relaxing lodge located in the quaint town of Marlington in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. It features a massive kitchen with a gas stove and warming lights, equipped with everything one could need. The breakfasts are delicious. The property is very dog-friendly. The location is ideal for outdoor activities. It provides direct access to walk out to the river to fish, with tons of great fishable water nearby. The fishing experiences are excellent, with patient and knowledgeable guides helping guests catch several very nice fish. The area is also perfect for biking on the hidden gem of the Greenbrier River Trail and for kayaking the Greenbrier River. Nearby attractions include the Greenbank Observatory and Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg. The overall experience is incredibly enjoyable and highly recommended, with many guests eager to return. The lodge and its setting offer a truly special getaway.
A peaceful retreat deep in the heart of Pocahontas County, WV. Easy access to some beautiful fishing right outside the door. Treat yourself to some guided fishing with Ann and Mark or just watch the birds from the back deck.

The Mitchells run a lovely B&B and do a great job teaching newbies how to fly-fish for trout. We enjoyed our two days there enormously, and would happily come back next time we're in that part of West Virginia.
