“I called ACT Auto Repair in the morning to ask about getting a car inspected before buying. Linda was incredibly helpful and said to come in anytime except during lunch. I brought the car over, and Chad conducted the inspection.
Chad was thorough and honest, walking me through the key issues I needed to know about. He pointed out that the front brake pads and rotors needed replacement, along with two back tires.
Initially, I was unsure about buying the car, but after Chad reassured me it was a solid choice despite these issues, I felt more at ease. Unfortunately, the small local dealership agreed to fix only one of the problems and didn’t even acknowledge the other. As a result, I decided against purchasing the car.
However, when I'm ready to buy in the future, I’ll definitely return to ACT for assistance. It's hard to find an honest and trustworthy auto shop these days, but I’ve found one! Thank you, Chad and Linda, for all your help—it's greatly appreciated!”

“My car was hit in a hit and run - I thought it was fine and I was just being cautious by taking it in to get checked for frame damage at the recommendation of a friend. Well, good thing I did. Josh and his team at Donnie’s were kind enough to look over the car for no charge and were able to let me know that it was NOT in fact safe to drive as I had thought, there was extensive pillar damage and the car ended up being a total loss. They worked with my nightmare of an insurance company and guided me through the whole process step by step, making it as quick and painless as humanly possible. The whole shop is full of amazing and kind people, but Josh especially is full of knowledge and knows the ins and outs of the insurance part of the business extremely well. Hope I don’t have an experience that puts me in this situation again, but if I do I know exactly where I’ll be taking my car. Cannot say enough good things about them.”

“Bob made my car look like new again after a dealer service center messed up the paint. He thoroughly explained everything and knew the process of repainting the specific part as soon as I came in. Insurance took a while to approve the claim but he was understanding and did a great job. Coming back here again for sure.”

“Definitely one of the best shop i had stopped on 8/29/2025 on my way back home to new york state from north Carolina I had my brakes line busted right before the exit I work on my own vehicle most of the time but this time I was out there without any tools and I pulled up to the shop hoping they was going to be able to help me out and they did it take longer then normal cause they were waiting on the brake line to come from the auto parts but as soon of they part show up it take them 30 minutes to put it together they got me back on the road and price was great definitely great shop owner and staff i really appreciate it please stop by if you having car issue in the area to bad they 5 1/2 hours ? “I had an issue with my car showing ABS, steering angle sensor, and airbag warning lights on the dashboard. I first went to another garage where they quoted me 1,600 TK and said all the parts needed replacement. Then I visited South Park Garage AMR, and their team carefully diagnosed the issue. They found that the sensors were simply misplaced not faulty and fixed everything perfectly. They didn’t even charge me anything!

(side note-everyone in this town has been so friendly.)The triple A guy who came to rescue us late at night in the rain, told us the best place around was Dinsmore Tire.We showed up when they opened at 8am. They had a used tire for us and quickly changed it. So impressed with the service, and the price.
