“I bought a second or even a third had Colt series 80 1911 a few years back and soon discovered it would not function properly. After speaking to multi gunsmiths who wouldn’t touch it, I finally found Jerry by searching on line. Jerry looked it over and said he would have to machine in a ramped barrel to correct the butcher job on the factory ramp and also recommended new sights. Jerry told me it would be a while to get it up to speed and he would work it into his schedule. After a rather long wait he contacted me and told me it was ready. All I can say is WOW !! This has to be the smoothest 1911 I’ve ever cycled. Shoots extremely well and chambers multi style bullets effortlessly. The only thing that I added is a 22lb slide spring as I do shoot supper loads out of it. It also handles standard rounds just fine with the same spring. This is a treasure to have and I completely recommend Jerry for any 1911 work.”

“Down to earth people, really nice and polite bunch of guys. I took a few pieces of gold in too sell for scrap, and the guy ask me how much I wanted for what I had . I told him a price and he say ( I may be able to get real close to that . He took the 2 small bags of gold and put them on the scales and came back with the cash I ask for . I will take all my stamps gold and silver to these guys.”
