Five Stars! Roses Discount Store is a clean, well-organized store with friendly staff who make shopping simple and effortless! The restrooms could use a few fixes, but they’re clean and tidy. With incredible discounts on essentials, fashion, and home décor, it definitely worth a visit!

I like going here for certain things. Somethings they have ate decent and good quality then some is alil on the cheap side but I'm a bargain shopper so if I can get 1 thing here better than another place we'll count me in!!! They always have decent items and good candy!

I've been going to this store in Princeton WV for the past decade with a backpack that is smaller than most women's purses
The thing at the register said I had to leave my bag up front
I said if my bag is smaller or same size as every other lady carrying a purse handbag or pocketbooks in why don't everyone have to leave their bags up front
Why is rose's singling out people who wear their pocket books on their backs and because they look like a backpack doesn't mean that it's what's it is being used for
To me that is discrimination
Why single out backpack carriers?
All people carrying bags into the store should have to leave them up front not just who looks like a hobo or shoplifter based on bag style they choose to carry
Rose's I'm call Gordon brothers your owners whoever to complain til this is changed and I won't be back til you change the policy

So my daughter, granddaughter and I went to Rose's Saturday around 12 pm. Found what we were looking for, including a cute green velvet jacket on the clearance rack. We took our purchases to the check out and waited be rang up. Well I'm guessing Mary just wasn't feeling very cashiery at that moment because once we began the ring up process it was down hill from there. That cute green jacket had a pair of pants with it(that wasn't with the jacket) and Ol Mary let us know! Whoo wee she must not have had her snickers bar. I said " well maybe it's on clearance because it's missing the pants"Wrong thing to say. She gave me the side eye of burning ? death and let us know that she works in that department and there WERE PANTS WITH THAT JACKET. My granddaughter slipped away and found another jacket that had the pants with it.Mary practically ripped her arm off grabbing that pant set , slammed it on the counter and let us know in her own loveable way we were to stupid to be out by ourselves. Aling with my other purchases I bought a $25 gift card that she made me purchase separately. Guess she figured I'd try to hoodoo Rose's out of it. I shop here frequently and will be back but I'm arming myself with a snickers bar and a lion tamer's whip in case I go through Mary's line again...

Great store...Most everything I went to buy, they had it..Most every household item needed, you can find it here.. Employees are courteous and helpful, and the store is always clean inside. Outside could use some cleaning up, and maybe even a little maintenance wouldn't hurt...All in all, Rose's is great to spend your money in... Good Job everyone there.. Keep up the good work...
