**Update to Original Review**
After posting my initial review, I was pleasantly surprised when the owner of Scott’s Auto Body Repair Shop personally reached out to address my concerns. They were apologetic and committed to making things right. We brought the truck back to have the hood issues fixed, and we also decided to have the grill painted. This time, the communication was excellent—clear, timely, and professional. The work was completed within the promised timeframe, and the quality of the repairs and paint job was impressive. The hood looks flawless now, and the grill matches perfectly. While my first experience was rough, their effort to turn things around has earned them another chance. We’ll definitely consider Scott’s for future projects.
We recently took our truck to Scott’s Auto Body Repair Shop to have the hood painted, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. They quoted me 2-3 days for the job, but after dropping it off on a Sunday, I didn’t get it back until the following Monday— that’s over a week later! I had to constantly chase them for updates; they promised calls that never came. On the Friday before pickup, they texted saying it would be ready by Monday before lunch. I waited all day, and by 3 PM (well after lunch), I had to reach out again only to hear they were “finishing it up.” Their communication is nonexistent and incredibly frustrating.
Because of the delay, we were in a rush to pick it up and pay just to get out of there. It wasn’t until we got to our destination that we could properly inspect the work. The hood has noticeable air bubbles in a couple of spots and two deep grooves that look like they could be from tape or some settling issue during painting—clearly subpar quality.
The next day, I went back to show them the problems. The guy said the painter was at lunch and that they’d call me to schedule a time to bring it back and fix it. That was 10 days ago, and I’ve heard nothing. I gave them plenty of time to make this right before resorting to a review, but their complete lack of follow-through speaks volumes.
Save yourself the headache—avoid Scott’s at all costs. Poor service, shoddy workmanship, and zero accountability.

Couldn’t have asked for a better body shop to fix my car after hitting a deer. Called and they got me in so quick for an estimate, same day got a call to let me know when to bring the car in, while other shops were months out for repairs! Communication and service was spectacular, loved the status updates through text! Will definitely recommend Scott’s to all my family and friends that need repairs in the future.

I was originally going to take my car to another auto body shop but remembered how great the customer service was at Scott’s. My drop off experience was amazing and lots of laughs with the women that work the front desk. However, I hadn’t heard back from them so I called them early in the morning and asked when the car would be ready and they said they would check and call me back. They never called back so I called them around 1:00pm, and the daughter of the office manager said they were at lunch and that’s why they didn’t call me back. So they said it possibly wouldn’t be ready until Friday but they would call. Of course, that never happened and then they called at around 3:30pm asking how far I lived from them and I told them I was in another town and would get there in time. So I went the following Monday during my lunch break and when I arrived the door was locked and a sign showing Lunch hours but it was 12:03 and I knocked and this guy answered the door and was quite rude and then the young lady was extremely rude but said she would help me but kept shaking her head and the guy said something smart and the girl agreed with him. I have never been treated like that before and will definitely go to the other shop in the area where they are very friendly. I may even notify my insurance company of their customer service and just maybe they will remove them as one of their preferred vendors

Great service, truck like new. Done when scheduled, good comms. Convenient and smart that they can check in Enterpise rentals at their location as well.

I'll give Scott's 5 stars, and this is based purely on the fact that they have been able to stay in business. They had my car for 2 months, we're talking Manhattan project time frame here, and they still produced super-sub-par results. (Photo proof attached). I'll add that they give little effort in procuring parts, they'll tell you the parts are on back order. (after the adjusters report I found every last part from an authorized dealer, and could have the parts inside of a week, the job should have been completed in 3 weeks). The rear door was the last part that they couldn't get, I found it , gave them the information, and by the luck of God they actually ordered it, now, I then checked with the supplier on the shipping. (A Volvo dealer in TN) He said it had arrived last Thursday 8/17, he gave me the the UPS tracking number & I confirmed that it was signed for at 1:00PM on 8/17). Now I call Scott's on 8/22, and they state the door just came in last night, (don't lie it's not good for business, just admit your incompetent.) Finally my car was completed in just under a year. The photos shown are actual, the front passenger door doesn't seal flush with the rear door and there's a gap between the rear and front that is 2mm greater at the top than at the bottom. The rear door even worse, measurements not needed, unless you're blind (this is the actual closed door). This will obviously have to be fixed by an actual body shop, on my dime. 2 months and they couldn't get anything right. I won't even get into the metal grindings, dust and debris in the engine compartment, great for a $50K super-charged engine, again my dime to have it cleaned. I'm sure that Scott's is a perfectly good shop to take your 1970-80's vehicle, but if you drive something nice stay away.

The lady at the front desk is always rude with me and I don’t like the way they talk to me when I come in. I definitely won’t be ever coming back here again!

I had work find their before so after a deer hit me I wanted them to give me an estimate on repairs. So I had an appointment at 1 this afternoon. Went there and the receptionist at the desk was polite. When the next receptionist came in she was rude and nasty toward me definitely not a people person. All I wanted was a quote snd she wouldn’t even do that. So with the terrible customer service and the cocky attitude the lady had I don’t recommend them at all and they lost a customer.
