“I called ACT Auto Repair in the morning to ask about getting a car inspected before buying. Linda was incredibly helpful and said to come in anytime except during lunch. I brought the car over, and Chad conducted the inspection.
Chad was thorough and honest, walking me through the key issues I needed to know about. He pointed out that the front brake pads and rotors needed replacement, along with two back tires.
Initially, I was unsure about buying the car, but after Chad reassured me it was a solid choice despite these issues, I felt more at ease. Unfortunately, the small local dealership agreed to fix only one of the problems and didn’t even acknowledge the other. As a result, I decided against purchasing the car.
However, when I'm ready to buy in the future, I’ll definitely return to ACT for assistance. It's hard to find an honest and trustworthy auto shop these days, but I’ve found one! Thank you, Chad and Linda, for all your help—it's greatly appreciated!”
“My car was hit in a hit and run - I thought it was fine and I was just being cautious by taking it in to get checked for frame damage at the recommendation of a friend. Well, good thing I did. Josh and his team at Donnie’s were kind enough to look over the car for no charge and were able to let me know that it was NOT in fact safe to drive as I had thought, there was extensive pillar damage and the car ended up being a total loss. They worked with my nightmare of an insurance company and guided me through the whole process step by step, making it as quick and painless as humanly possible. The whole shop is full of amazing and kind people, but Josh especially is full of knowledge and knows the ins and outs of the insurance part of the business extremely well. Hope I don’t have an experience that puts me in this situation again, but if I do I know exactly where I’ll be taking my car. Cannot say enough good things about them.”

The folks at CJ’s got me in immediately and fixed the problem.
Then the kickstand broke on the ride home and they fixed that as well.
All of this was done at reasonable prices. The guys were very friendly and understanding. This a great place with knowledgeable professionals who treated us well.”

“Despite being 45 minutes from where I live, I took my Malibu here March 2026 to replace the torque converter. Excellent work, excellent customer service, and excellent prices. It took longer than expected due to trouble getting parts, but he kept me updated. The reason I used this shop instead of the ones closer to my home is this guy knows what he's doing, and he has great work ethics. The peace of mind knowing it was being done right means alot to me. “I have came here several times, and each time I come they fix my car and take care of what needs taken care of. The cost for repairs is reasonable, as is the time it takes to complete the repairs. You should also consider them if you need exhaust work. I had some issues in the past with a rusted exhaust pipe, and they were able to fix it up easily.”
