“I live in Europe. This store offers a superb variety of spices, food from around the world. The melons, pasteks, corn on the cob were delicious!!
Everything at a reasonable price because I find that the big brands like Martins, Weiss, etc. have become too expensive... otherwise the food is overpriced in the USA ?”
“This is a great store over all, but if you need anything from behind the checkout counter, depending on the shift and who's working you could be waiting a good while. They strongly rely on self check out and often have to be found to come help up front.”
“Huge Dollar Tree with so many choices. I could shop in here for hours. It's definitely my favorite, but one negative is the carts. They have this huge pole attached, and you can't get out of the store.”
“Great place to exercise, even for Seniors like myself. Senior equipment is in the front and other equipment for the younger crowd is in the back. There are classes and and other things going on all the time. If you have Silver Sneakers like I do, you can go to any One Fitness gym anywhere in the country for free. The staff is great, helpful and always up for a conversation!!”

“Big Lots is a great place to shop, many items are discount and everything in the store is new. There is a grocery section, furniture, bedding and housewares, lawn and garden, appliances ( small), seasonal items, toys and games and pet department. Whatever you can't find at the major chain stores...its sure to be at Big Lots!! Plenty of free parking and lots if carts.”

“Creepy vibe with feeling followed by random sketchy dudes but the deals make it worth risking possible abduction. Although I dont consider it kid friendly for my family. Between the cluttered aisles, the lighting inside, etc..being there with my kids is overstimulating and makes me just want to leave”
“This store is defiantly less cluttered and cleaner than the bunker hill or north Queen stores. But it still has its days. Thus may be a corporate problem I don't think there are enough staffers it seems there always short handed and workers are stocking shelves between customers. Over all the Pikeside plaza Dollar General store is my favorite out of the ones in my area.”
“I went to this Dollar General this morning because the one I go to regularly and is closer to me seems to have consistent issues with opening on time or finding someone to ring up your items...however you can find most of them outside smoking a cigarette and chatting...I think waiting for over 5 minutes is questionable.... so I went to the Dollar General off route 45 on shepherdstown road..... the semi grey haired gentleman was quite personable and we chatted a bit about the book he was currently reading and recommended.... the store was neat and orderly as well....I believe this will be my go to store...”
“Decent store and always organized compared to the other dg’s in the area but they should check dates on food and candy. I just bought a bag of dark chocolate Reese peanut butter cups that expired 12/2021. It was only a dollar so not worth taking back.”

But as often as my family and I visit this location there are a few employees tend to always be there working hard with a smile and a pleasant attitude. “Staff is always respectful,helpful, and surprisingly for martinsburg always in a good mood. They also have great deals going on more than half the time. I go here more than most stores, even for little stuff like yogurts or drinks. Keep up the great work”

“It is a great store if you want to get something quick. It is understaffed, but they do their best to keep the store clean and safe. I personally find it easier to get into compared to other stores of similar sizes. It is far from most other stores which makes it great if you are just passing by and want a quick snack or need something specific.”
