“Small country gas station and general store. Prices were very reasonable, and the clerk was very friendly and helpful. We're planning on coming back this way in June for vacation and plan to stop in multiple times while in the area.”
“Very quaint, Appalachian atmosphere. Definitely appears to be the one-stop-shop for many of the locals. You order at the counter immediately to your right, and the lady taking my order was sweet, informative, and pronounced.
They also had a good selection of pre-made food you can grab and go if you are in a hurry.
I ordered the fried pickles and the Double Cheeseburger for a total of $18 and change. I was able to place the order promptly and was told it would be a bit of a wait since there were a few orders ahead of mine, which was just fine with me. The burger came with potato chips but that could be swapped with fries, onion rings, cold salads (pasta salad, potato salad, etc), etc for $3.
My food took about 25 minutes but it was worth it! The food came with ample sauces and the burger was huge! It tasted like momma's cooking back home.
The store was clean and easy to move around in! I don't know what the bathroom situation is. 3 minutes from the Sandstone Visitor Center and right off the interstate.
They had ice cream, ice, and gas for sale, as well as a post office box and the Sandstone Post Office itself. They also have rockin chairs and benches out on the porch, but no tables. They had one handicap spot next to a very sturdy handicap ramp.
I got my food to go, hence the Styrofoam to-go boxes, but ended up eating inside because my baby woke up. The benches and chairs were comfortable and clean, as were the floors.
All in all, highly recommend even at the more competitive price!”
“My husband and I stopped for gas at Jarrell's Exxon and was delightfully surprised that it was a full service station. One nice gentleman pumped our gas while another nice gentleman cleaned our windshield. They were very courteous and kind and they gave us service with a smile. I recommend them highly!”
“In the summer, I love being able to pull up and quickly grab a pack of water and take it right to the car. Quick. Convenient. Gotta love using those rewards points.”

“The store is kept clean and the staff is friendly. They offer hot food such as sausage biscuits, hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch and dinner they also off other hot foods it varies from day to day.”
“This is where I always go for my car. They stepped up and fixed my car when others said it wasn't worth fixing, and it was affordable. They are nice, honest, and respectable. I don't feel that way about any other business around.”
