“Great owners, very friendly and always willing to help people. Great family environment and even have old time kids candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in years! Wonderful place, and they also offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, breakfast pizza, tornados for breakfast and lunch, as well as hunts brothers pizza, and if you would rather have something like a cold cut sandwich from the deli they even have that, too, as well as Amish macaroni salad and potato salad, cheese and pepperoni trays, and much more. Highly recommend stopping in and checking it out!! You won't be disappointed with the friendly staff and huge selection of different things this conveince store has to offer!!! ❤️”

“We had to stop at this place on our way to blackwater falls, WV. I purchased a lottery ticket, big red pop and t shirt. It was fun to explore this charming general store. The restrooms were spacious and super clean. What a cool place. After doing research I found out a little history on this popular tourist stop. I can't wait to return.”

“I have always been treated with kindness and respect at this store. Sometimes you have to wait longer than you'd like, but that's the way it is with all the chain drugstores everywhere. If you want better service than that, go to a small independent shop, as I do for most of my needs. But Walgreen's can get some meds that the small place can't, and sometimes I'm in their area and need some retail item.
I feel the employees are doing their best. Sometimes they may seem like they're not hurrying. I expect they have to adopt a slow and steady attitude to get through all the times they're swamped. They're human.”
