“It’s not the IGA that it use to be. Less deals and higher prices. But maybe that’s just everywhere. No staff greet you when you walk in the door like others strive to do. If you need something fast or don’t feel like leaving Salem it’s a good place to shop.”
“Most of the people that work there are very nice and will try to go out of their way to help you. The store is usually clean. It's just a convenient grocery store especially if you don't want to go to Bridgeport Hill. That is a fruit tray I had gotten a few weeks ago it was delicious and it looked good!! “Bad and sad news. This store will be closing down for good this month, I'm July. I am somewhat upset this this store is closing, cause this is the only gas station and convenient store in middle of town of Salem with more variety of snacks and drinks. Plus, the BP gasoline is the best gas in town. Now with this station closing down soon, I'm forced to buy gas for the mowers at the other end of town or in another town. I just hope that this place will be up for sale and another company would take over this station. Update. The 7 Eleven corporate was going to shut this gas station and convenience store down, but after complaints from Salem residents and a few employees, the corporate decided to keep this store open. Everyone in Salem is happy to see this store to remain open.”

“I call our DG “The Salem Mini Mall”. I love shopping here. I spend at least 1 hour pushing my little yellow cart. The store is loaded. Be prepared to navigate the aisles. Everyone should shop The Dollar Store. Happy shipping!”
“Here lately in the last .month or so the shelves have been stocked wwwaaayyyy better than they have in the past 5 months. So far in the last 5 months everyone that works there is usually in a pleasant mood and most of the cashiers make sure they ask if you found everything alright and if not they will tell u where it is or what aisle it is in. Big plus the store is cleaner than what it used to Good up the hard work!!”

“Wish ALL Dollar stores would start accepting WIC ASAP!! Bc Dollar stores are EVERYWHERE and it would help not only their business but also ALOT OF FAMILIES!!! Or atleast have certain stores thats away from other stores that accept WIC?!? Like the location of this dollar store!!”
