The staff are all pleasant and knowledgeable. Since the pandemic they require you call from your car to let them know you've arrived. When they're ready, a tech comes out and takes you right into the exam room. I like that because it avoids sitting in a crowded waiting room.

We feel very blessed and well cared for. Once again we had a wonderful visit for a change in condition in our 11 year old Princess. She had a seizure and this was her first. The arrangement for care and the visit were, as always appropriately provided by kind and competent staff. The multiple health issues Princess has makes a thorough assessment with gathering history and changes in Princess's behavior, routine as well as symptoms, diet, mobility, etc. necessary. I have always felt the staff are patient, thorough, and use critical thinking skills to gather health history, determine and discussing wanted testing, and needs of patient and family for the comfort and peace of mind for all. This team weathers all changes and continues to deliver outstanding care for our pets; our family.

As for the beer, I have been trying Oktoberfest brews all over this year as I have traveled. Theirs is the best one I have had this year hands down! Tried a few others as well. All their beers are simply incredible! The stout, perfect Irish goodness. The festbier, amazing biergarden vibe. The Vienna Lager, pure amber hued German goodness. And their Tall Mast IPA is such a masterful recreation an 18th century style IPA that seeks to, and succeeds at representing of what an IPA actually was intended to taste like when originally brewed.

The fries are salty, the buffalo chicken wrap was thick- did not need a side - and I liked that I could put vanilla flavor in my Diet Pepsi. The staff was nice, there were a few booths and a few tables. Easy lunch place.

2295 West College Avenue, AppletonWe had such a wonderful experience at The Melting Pot celebrating a birthday with a group of both adults and children. Our server, Caleb, was absolutely fantastic! He was professional and attentive, but what really stood out was his incredible personality and sense of humor. He had the best banter with both the kids and adults and kept everyone laughing throughout the entire meal.
At one point, I actually thought, “This guy could work on a Disney Cruise!” He was that good at engaging everyone at the table, regardless of age, while still providing excellent service.
Caleb truly made an already special birthday celebration even more memorable. The Melting Pot is lucky to have him!

Saving Paws
N3141 Meade Street, AppletonEveryone who volunteers and works at Saving Paws was so patient with us! We went to Saving Paws with one dog in mind. When we got there, we met the dog, Lucy, and also got to look around and meet any other dog we were interested in. Kari was very knowledgeable about each dog and let us take as much time as we needed to spend with each dog. Kari told us we could go home and decide overnight since it was a lot to take in after meeting 3 dogs. We informed her of our decision the next day that we would like to adopt the dog we were originally interested in. Kari was at a grooming appointment and Ruth and Jeremy were working that day. They let us play with Lucy again for 30 minutes before we officially adopted her. They brought in a puppy to show us how Lucy was with other dogs and answered any lingering questions we had. They also offered to contact the Texas shelter where Lucy came from and find out any extra information they may not know if we had more questions. Overall it was a positive experience. Lucy was also due on her heartworm and flea/tick preventative and they gave us the preventatives needed to her to tie her over until we could get her into a vet. We never felt the pressure other rescues can sometimes give. We are so thankful for everything they do for each dog that comes through their rescue! Lucy has made us laugh and smile for the few days we’ve had her. I’d definitely recommend Saving Paws!
