“My lab tore her CCL/acl last fall, and we were scared and frantic to get help. We were so grateful to find an orthopedic surgeon close to home and not have to drive to Madison or Appleton like we originally thought we would have to. We weren't originally patients of Athens vet, we live in Medford, but they were so calming and kind and took us in righy away. I had our vet transfer our records over and Athens jumped in immediately to get us appointments and get the surgery scheduled. One of the receptionists sat on the phone with me for quite a long time and calmed me down because I was so emotional. That's above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion, but it shows the compassion Athens vet has. My dog had her surgery and everything went great, Dr Paul even called over the weekend to check on her. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Flash forward to 1 year later and as we were warned, she tore the other side. I was so much less anxious and scared because of the above and beyond experience I had last with with Athens vet. Naturally, they performed right on brand and made us feel comfortable, confident and were very reassuring. I cannot sing my praises for this place enough! Thank you Athens vet!”
