Thunderbird Motor Inn is an excellent old fashioned motel well run and nicely appointed. Rooms are clean and nicely laid out and quiet. Beds are very hard and there is no phone in the room. The dresser has scratches and holes. A family restaurant is next door but closed at 3. Great gas, grocery store walking with everything you could need. The hotel is fine but a couple arguing next door kept you awake and a leaky shower was noticed. Great place, amazing management and friendly staff. Amenities like ice machines, Wi‑Fi, cable TV. Great parks close by. You will need to find somewhere to wash clothes and the only 2 laundry mats are on Broadway. Non‑smoking, but a cigarette butt receptacle on the wall beside every door is filthy and stinks, and other guests stand outside your door and smoke. Walkability easy to walk around. Devils Lake and Cascade mountain nearby.
