“One of the best mechanics in Rockford. As a young lady, I so appreciate the respect I feel from the employees here and the trust they strive to achieve with their customers. This place literally sent one of their own employees across town to deliver a part to a different mechanic that was working on my car because they didn't have it. They did not ask a cent of me, just that I continue to come to them for service in the future. Talk about amazing service. Please pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed.”
“I was very happy with the work that was done on my car by Tony and his team. My undercarriage which had the control arms in the front of my car were terribly rusted and cracked. The control arms needed replaced. The car would knock and rattle quite loud and I thought it was the muffler. Had I not had it fixed, I might have had an accident that could have been bad. I was very grateful for the expertise that Tony had to find the problem. He took it out for a test drive and knew immediately what the problem was just by hearing it. He hadn’t even had it on the rack yet. I would highly recommend the team and the work done at Grease Monkey in Roscoe, Illinois on Main Street just off Elevator Road. Walked right in...two gentlemen behind the counter, very nice, and was able to not only have my tire checked but repaired as well. “Everyone was so nice, they got down to business and figured out what was wrong with my car very quickly. I thought it would cost a lot to fix but to my surprise, they were reasonably priced as well!! Thought it would take a few days but they were done same day so I had them fix something else that needed to be fixed just not urgent like the other issue. Thank you 251!! “The service WAS slow, but that was NOT the staff's fault. They had been forced to send workers home earlier because of "too much labor"...and then they got busy! And had a couple of challenging issues with customers. And the manager has just been transferred to that store a week or so ago, and was still figuring out the local ropes, inventory issues, etc. Yes, it took much longer than it normally would, but the staff handled it all as well as anyone could. Professional, courteous, etc. Highly recommended.”
