“Off the beaten path, but if you happen to stumble upon it, it's worth your time to check out. I always find something here. Great vibes except for the ton of creepy dolls, lots and lots of books, and just a great selection of reasonably-priced stuff. Wonderful people to do business with. Look for a McDonald's glass in almost every booth - I don't know if that's intentional or not, but it makes shopping here fun!”

“Very cool old general store that sells antiques, good-quality children's toys, old-fashioned candy and ice cream. If that wonderfully-scarred counter and cash register could talk! Great historic display behind the counter, giving you a feel of what it was like to shop at a real general store back in the day.”

“Been coming here for over two years. My favorite place in black river falls. The owner knows his stuff! I always find cool things that I may or may not have been looking for. I’m a dvd person so the downstairs area is like heaven for me. The owner is a really cool person to talk to. The reviews complaining about him are just people offended because they weren’t respecting his business. I talked to him and we got a kick out of it. Remember, there’s always another side to the story. Also remember that it’s a business and you need to respect that. I always love coming here because I could talk to Dave for a long time. Many cool things too. Good deals on things way more expensive at other places. Love this place!”
