I stopped in this past weekend to mail a package to some family abroad. It had been a while since I had sent a package out of the country, I forgot which paperwork needed to be filled out. The girls at the counter were friendly and helpful, and even had me get a different box that saved me about $20! They went above and beyond and I am so grateful for their assistance. Thank you!

I was at this USPS branch in Brookfield yesterday and I was really impressed. I brought them a very big mailing project (we couldn't get the labels to print at the office due to a software issue) and they handled it with speed, grace and professionalism.I was there over 2 hours and witnessed how each team member at the branch interacted with the customers. To a person, they were friendly and efficient, despite the non-stop line of people, each with a slightly different question or request.Special shout out to Danielle and Steve for processing my piles of packages. I really appreciated their patience and understanding. Thank you!!!

I went to the post office around 5:30pm today, a Monday, but it was already closed, even though the closing time on its website and door saying 6:30pm. There is no notice or any warnings. Very strange and disappointing.

I got to the post office at 2:59 on a Saturday after sprinting to get a packaged shipped after a busy day. I was in a hurry to get it done since they are closed on Sunday. When I got there I went to open the door which was not locked, but a lady was holding it closed. She said “ope were closed” and I told her that it was 2:59. She checked her watch and said it was 3:00. I didn’t have my phone on me, but when I left the car it was 2:58. She was so rude and I asked her if she could she let me in and she refused. She could tell I was in distress, but continued to be rude and unhelpful. Get better, more helpful staff.

If there was a negative star option, I would have given them that. My 12 year old was shipping a charity box and the shipping label was not sticking properly on the box. They sent her back saying that they will not use their tape to seal it because it’s not free and she needs to do it herself. The guy on the counter wasn’t helpful when I went in and said the same to me even after I told him that I don’t have any tape with me and I didn’t bring any wallet with me to buy a new tape. Poor customer service and shameless staff. Just because the box already had a label and ur not making any money out of us doesn’t mean that you will treat those customers bad. Will never go again. Always a disappointment!!!Pathetic service and staff!

This review is on this Brookfield location and not USPS in general. This location is really good. The staff is friendly and helpful. I worked with Steve today in which he clearly explained my options, was patient, and was pleasant to do business with. When my wife comes in with our daughter they are always friendly to her which helps the process. Highly recommend this location for your USPS needs.

One of the worst USPS Staffs works here.The lady at this USPS office is rudest and she said she can't tolerate few seconds delay on passport appointments. We went for the 12.30-1pm appointment by 12.32pm and she said you are two mins late and i don't have time in a very rude way. Do they any supervisor to monitor this behaviors?

Rudest staff works here. They are puposely ignoring our passport appointments. They have asked me to go and bring my spouse for my kid passport appointment and refuse to give passport appointments. I never seen unfriendly USPS like this one.

The rudest staff works here. They are purposely ignoring our passport appointments. They have asked me to go and bring my spouse for my kid's passport appointment and refuse to give passport appointments. I have never seen an unfriendly USPS like this one.

The Saturday counter clerk at the Brookfield PO gave me completely wrong information regarding the weight of the package I was mailing. The PO wasn't busy so there was no reason to mislead me. I'd asked her if I'd put enough shipping postage on my package with my pre-bought sticker. She replied that she was unable to tell me as the postage was pre-purchased. I'm a new small online business and I depend on shipping services. I trusted her in her knowledge, that she honestly could not tell me. However I stopped at the Elm Grove PO with my next shipping and asked them the same question. They were able to confirm the accuracy of my postage and package weight without hesitance. Sadly, I am not sure if my Brookfield package transit time was affected by under paid postage--it has been "in transit" for 12 days now. Very disappointed in this clerk and her intentional service maliciousness. I will warn others to stay away from the Brookfield PO from hereon. It was my home PO.

Not a good experience today. I received conflicting information regarding sending large packages. I was told I must send them priority mail, or risk that my property will be handled with disregard.And even if I do, there's no guarantee. I realize that they can't control what happens once it leaves their facility, but the counter associate did not have a positive manner. It is certainly true that especially large boxes are not handled carefully, as I received one last month with a giant hole in it, and contents missing. It was packed very well.I shipped it regular mail (ground), so was not able to file a claim for missing items. I work in customer service too, I understand how important it is to help people with courtesy. I don't feel that this happens here.
