“Dr. Thelen is amazing. I first met her when I brought my cat Phat Boy to see her. He was 16 years old and he was sick. I wanted to make sure I made the right choices for him to have the best quality of life possible for the time he had left. She was so informative and kind. “I trust HCVC. I recently adopted a rescue who came from a shelter using a vet who cleared her for adoption while she had serious health issues that were evident with a cursory glance. Dr. Dzika and his assistant (Imani?) were so caring and thorough. Dr. Dzika explained what her needs would be and how I can best meet them for her. He cleaned out her ears for me (I had no idea they'd been so neglected, as well); and provided immediate relief for her while teaching me the proper way to keep them clear. He prepared me for what we'd be facing for her much needed dental treatment, patiently answered every question I had and assured me that we're welcome to come in, email or call anytime we needed to. Our girl has many health issues as a result of years of neglect and confinement (breeder). I'm glad we have him caring for our her and we are now more hopeful for her future. Our previous girl was with HCVC for all of her 13+ years and received exceptional, compassionate care, as well.”
“I have a beautiful little cat that has an allergy to dust mites. My thought is she’s allergic to herself. ? She needs medication twice daily, and I was going to be gone for 21 days in the Mediterranean. My vet at North Shore Animal Hospital recommended Brentwood. I could not be more pleased with the love and care she was given. They sent me an email with a concern that she was not eating. They resolved the problem, and again emailed me to let me know.
I picked her up, and I have this little furry coat attached to me since I got home!!

“I was so impressed with all of the staff and the doctors. Everyone is very welcoming and compassionate. Everyone at the clinic treated my animals like their own. They were patient and answered all my questions. This is the care all pet owners and pets deserve.”
“Hands down one of the best vets! I put all my trust in them! Magnolia Springs is compassionate and truly cares for animals. They run the most up to date testing that not all local vets run. We learned through pre-anesthesia bloodwork/Pro-BNP that our beloved kitty had HCM at 4 years old. Thankfully with them running Pro-BNP (unlike most other vets) we knew it wasn’t safe for him to be put under for teeth cleaning. Magnolia Springs helped us get connected with a cardiologist for further testing/diagnostics (echocardiogram/ultrasound) to be sure of what treatment/plan of care we needed for our cat moving forward. They continued to help assist with Milos annual needs as well as his HCM routine blood work/pre-scan testing 2x per year - and continued to show nothing but support for our kitty and myself. Milo is asymptomatic, non-progressive and living his happiest life with a small dose of preventative (blood thinning) medication. Grateful for Magnolias Springs diagnostics - and for helping us catch HCM early so that we can properly monitor our little fur baby! Forever thankful for this incredible vet.”

“Nicky and Dr. Bob are angels. Nicky went above and beyond to provide me and our sweet Remy the support we needed, I could never thank her enough. Dr. Bob is the sweetest soul and I was grateful for the peace he brought during one of the most difficult days of our lives. The thought of bringing our baby to a scary place on his last day breaks my heart, and I am forever grate for the invaluable service they provide. This was such an awful day, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Nicky and Dr. Bob were so compassionate and walked us through the whole process. We were at home, in our safe place, full of love, kisses, and tears.Nicky and Dr. Bob, thank you is not enough. We are truly grateful for you.?”

“I’m not one to leave reviews, but praise has to be given when it is deserved. I unfortunately had to put down my golden down after a quick decline. I was devastated, but Dr. Kelly and Shannon made the experience incredibly peaceful and took amazing care of my boy. Shannon was a great comfort with a much needed hug and I could tell her heart broke along with mine. You both are amazing at what you do. “I’ve seen several vets with different pets over the years and I never thought any of them were “bad”, but Dr. Christine raised the bar in every aspect and just operates on the next level.
She gave the most thorough examination I’ve ever seen. Her communication and explanations both during the appointment and follow up with lab results was excellent.
The price ended up being lower than the estimate. I had already agreed to the higher price and expected it, so they proved to be fair as well.”

Fairly new client here, established 1 yr ago and have had two visits with my cat. Both appointments were with Dr. Hillary who was wonderful, she's very personable & approachable and took the time to explain everything. One thing that I really appreciated was the breakdown in cost regarding elective bloodwork prior to procedure taking place. I would have done it regardless, but the fact Dr. Hillary was considerate & informed me ahead of time was quite kind/ courteous. I hope to have Dr. Hillary as my cat's vet for the duration of her life.”

“I tried Vetco (Petco) vaccination clinics for the first time today with my dog and my cat. I love my vet and take my pets there if we have a problem but vaccinations at my vet are just too expensive. I had previously been a pretty loyal Shotvet customer which is PetSmart's vaccination clinic. After our appointment today at Petco... I will tell you that Vetco is SO MUCH BETTER!! We went to the Sturdevant, WI location. First off, it's much easier to book an appointment with Vetco vs. Shotvet. There are more available days and times which is way more convenient. The girl who checked us in as well as the vet tech and the vet were very professional, incredibly friendly, super informative and knowledgeable. They talked to me about other options for my dog's flea/tick and heartworm meds than the ones that I use and pointed out that these other options would save me some money. They pointed out a benign tumor in my dog's ear that I knew about but could easily have been unaware of. I really appreciated the extra time they took to talk to me about those things. They also asked if I had other veterinary concerns with my pets. I did not, but it's nice they take the time to answer questions or listen to concerns that are non-vaccine related. Shotvet did not show this level of concern for my pet, though they are quick and efficient. Vetco goes above and beyond in my opinion. I was really happy with my experience today and will absolutely continue to do my vaccine appointments with Vetco from now on.”
“Let me start off by saying that my pet has not been treated here.
But, I did call to book an appointment due to symptoms my cat has had. I was informed that the next available appointment would not be for a month and a half out. After me explaining that my cat has had reoccurring diarrhea for over 2 weeks, the receptionist urged me to find another place that could take her in sooner.
They cared more about my cat then booking business for themselves and I think that speaks mountains about the establishment.”
“After having a horrible experience with a Veterinarian in Kenosha, where they separated me from around $600 and did nothing for my cat. She was not eating or drinking; then they wanted me to come back for $300 x-rays and possible surgery, I thought we would have to put our cat down. Thankfully, I spoke with Dr. Limpach about possible euthanasia. After talking with her for a while, she thought she might be able to help. We have gone to see her a few times since that initial day, and I am happy to report my kitty is doing well. I am grateful to Dr. Limpach, who was so kind, so helpful, and who has kept in almost daily contact with me over the past several weeks.”
