“I have 3 animals. I have tried 2 other Vets in the area and Riverview is the one I stay with. The staff is very friendly. The environment is warm and welcoming and my animals are not as stressed in the rooms. They are usually prompt with appointment times but can get backed up with emergencies. They are efficient but never make you feel like you are being rushed out. I’ve been going there for 6 or 7years.”

“Lake Wissota Animal Hospital literally has saved Moose’s life, gave him his health back and turned him back into a puppy ( he is 10). Before moving to Holcombe we had him going to a Vet in Onalaska area and I requested numerous times for them to check his thyroid levels as Moose had all the signs of Hypothyroidism. They always told me his lab work was normal. After we moved to Holcombe area we had Moose’s first visit to Lake Wissota and the Vet walked in and immediately said…”Moose looks like he has a thyroid problem “
She did the FULL Thyroid panel and it showed he was far from “normal range” like the other place had told me. Once we started him on medication his health issues started to slowly turn around and he began to finally lose weight. He started at 147 pounds and is now 118 and loving his walks and hikes in the woods. He once had no tolerance to walk very long and now can walk/hike a couple miles. The Veterinarians and all the staff at Lake Wissota are phenomenal. Moose loves going there and they love on him so much he gets the zoomies when we leave. I recommend Lake Wissota to everyone i know.”
