“We go to Eagle River every summer and a trip to Walkabout is always on our list.We love shopping at local small businesses when we are at home and on vacation.They have a wide range of great gear and have a very friendly & knowledgeable staff.On our trip this year, I remembered that they sell efoils and called them for a lesson.Their response to my request was almost immediate and very flexible with my schedule.David was a fantastic instructor and had all the gear needed. I have watched other people teaching efoil and they don’t compare to David. The lesson was a total blast!I highly recommend Walkabout!!!”
“Kinda new around here and have been talking to a lot of people, asking about where the panfish are biting, and you'd think I was asking where to dig the next gold mine haha ?. Some reason I didn't see Tadpoles until a couple weeks ago, I stopped in and finally was pointed in the right direction, had a nice aerator too that is still keeping minnows alive from that trip.”

“I have a hard time believing the other reviews. Perhaps that is someone local that has an axe to grind because our experience was 100% the opposite. Super polite staff welcoming us with a smile upon entry. I had five children with me and they were super patient and accommodating. Very helpful to my fishing naïveté as well as we selected poles and other items. Happy to purchase from them and happy to return when we visit Eagle River again!”

“Wonderful store! Excellent customer service. I had a few questions about taking kids there for archery and they gladly answered them before our visit. My sons had done archery at camp and have been wanting to do it again. Excellent archery range. My family will for sure be back again!!!!!”
