“Took my 3 teens to see “The Nutcracker”. Performance was amazing. You will have amazing views from anywhere you sit in this theater. Drinks were easily and conveniently ordered and waiting for you during intermission.”
“I still can't believe such a place exists. I went for my first time and was blown away in a good way. I was so impressed with the staff, the layout, the offerings. You get so much each visit so I don't mind them making us wait 3 months between visits. Having fallen on hard times, I was so happy to have new (for me) clothes and shoes. Everything was in perfect condition. It was more like a regular store than a thrift store. I was most excited to get a perfectly new Kate Spade purse. Everyone wants to feel good and presentable. This is more than just a place for help with clothing, shoes, accessories...it's a boost for your spirit. I only wish I'd known of this amazing place sooner!”

“I was there for the Black Excellence Awards ceremony. The center is very spacious, the servers were polite and attentive, and the bathroom was very clean. The food was just okay. We had chicken with mixed vegetables and potatoes. The dessert was pound cake, and it was set on the table with the salad. By the time we finished dinner and was ready to eat dessert, the pound cake was starting to get hard. It was less than desirable. During the reception, there was plenty of coffee, but the creamer containers were empty fairly quickly. Needless to say, I didn't get coffee. They had 2 bars in the reception area, so if you didn't get a drink before you head into the dining area, water was at the table. Lastly, there was plenty of parking.”
“The community center has lots of support for families. The family resource center has a open play and some targeted groups as well. It is not a huge place, but there is plenty for kids to do and it's easy to keep track of them. The coffee is hot in the morning, the snacks are stocked, and the staff is very helpful. The dad's group is a great place to chat and discover dad's with similar concerns.”
“Thank you for make my daughters wedding so memorable. The atmosphere and the food were amazing. The staff was so helpful. It truly is a wonderful venue for a wedding. Great job.”
“LOVE this place. The volunteers are so helpful. Tons of bikes there, helmets, bike racks. Great prices and free service for a year if you purchase a bike there. Awesome place, with a mission to provide bikes to anyone who wants to ride.”
“This is my favorite spot in the neighborhood! I’ve found some of my favorite shoes here for 3 DOLLARS. And the ladies and the atmosphere are just lovely. ❤️??”
“I've been here several times. It's always peaceful. The gift shop is small, but lovely. I like to take the guided walks, and the small festivals. Yoga with the alpacas is enjoyable.”
“Came across this place while looking for something to do in Milwaukee since I’m here for a few days and visiting this place was well with the admission price. Mr. Benson had a wealth of knowledge that he was willing to share. I actually walked in on him talking to a group of local youth.
To me this was more of an exhibit than a typical museum I’m used to visiting; but to learn about the events that happened in Milwaukee that impacted black civil rights nationally was very enlightening. Glad I came and helped support the local preservation of black history!”
“Went for a concert and was surprised how neat this venue was. Very cool looking inside. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. They have multiple bars to grab a drink.”
“Absolutely superb experience doing run of show for a non profit annual meeting here last week. The entire staff was so kind and helpful. The space is immaculate, and they have everything you could dream of for having an event run smoothly.”
“I have been biking since I was 8 and more then likely I will doing it until I'm 108. These people facilitate trails, programs and spearhead initiatives so that are state can can have as many people rolling as possible. I have been a proud member for years and will continue to do so. Become a member yourself and maybe stop on by they have great art.”

“Absolutely the warmest people, so friendly and professional and welcoming in the best nonjudgmental way. I got wonderful groceries that I can really use and cook with. Lots of brand name things and nothing expired. Fresh bread, too, from Sendik's and Trader Joe's. Everything was clean and organized. The system they have is very well done, super efficient. I like that you go through and pick what you like from each section. You take a number then go downstairs and wait. The line moved so fast and everyone including the kids were well behaved. Also a HUGE big hug and shout-out to Jay, the nice young man, who says he's 18. He's proof that young men can act respectful. The media seems to jump to assumptions about young black men, but Jay is the future we need in this country. Jay's big heart and warm patient personality made my first visit to this pantry a very positive one. I will return monthly. The whole experience enriched my spirit as well as my stomach. Thank you to all the staff.
The ladies upstairs at the front entrance lit up my soul with their smiles. This location and the organization overall is a true beacon of light and hope. May God bless them!”
“Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff are so very attentive and patient with all Native American participants. The need of this service is so immense. Kudos to The Hunger Task Force Staff and program.”
“Wonderful church, extremely nice people. Their motto is:"No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here."So true at this church.”
“This is a well organized museum the incorporates Milwaukee history with the influx of Jews and their impact on Milwaukee. It reviews the culture they brought with them, how the community has changed over the years. It highlights several community members who have had national, and even global importance, and got there start right here in Milwaukee. We spent almost two hours reading and exploring.”
“The most supportive and kindest staff ever. They always have 30+ available job opportunities printed for you to take and apply at your convenience which are updated regularly. They have been a great resource helping me tweak my resume. Along with giving me alternative of ways to search for potential jobs that fit my skill set, as I am trying to change career fields.”
“I visited for the Trans Health Fair and had a really great time. It's easy to get to D&R off the bus or by car, and the location felt safe. I'm excited to visit again.”
“Staff here are professional, patient and nice. Anna is very nice also, she is the manager I believe. I love the fact they go on field trips every week during the summer. I feel safe taking my kids here as well.”
“From the first day working here, I knew it was a very special place. In my 35 years of having jobs, I’ve never experienced an environment like this. It can only speak to the founder and president, Janan Najeeb, the board members and the staff. Each woman has a superpower and uses it to her fullest to manage the incredible reach of the organization’s mission.MMWC and Janan Najeeb should be a household name.”
“A lot of important work in preserving our city's greenspaces is going on here. The RRF staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I'd highly recommend volunteering, even if just for a couple hours, you'll gain a much greater appreciation for Milwaukee's rivers and the effort taking place to maintain these areas for everyone's enjoyment.”
“Nice, clean affordable space. There could be some updates to the carpet beyond anything else. But for the space you get and your own ability to transform the space, renting this place out for your next occasion is worth it.”
“I’m very impressed with ECE’s service. They were fast, responsive, and accurate. The whole process went smoothly and far beyond my expectations. Thank you for your excellent support!”
“I really love going to Goodwill stores and either donating or buying items that I need. Prices are great! You may have to dig a little bit to find what you're looking for but it is definitely worth it. I usually stop at a Goodwill store once or twice a month. Wow! The savings are ridiculous. You do have to bring your own bags though because they are not providing them anymore. So I usually have my bags in the back of my car at all times for when I stop in to Aldi's or Goodwill stores. All Goodwill stores are different so try a few out. You might find one that you really like.”
“Best Salvation Army I've been to by far. Clean, great selection, well organized and staff is awesome! Adam was very cool to talk to and was this was a great first experience going to this store.”
