“I always love coming to this place for any event. Maybe not 100% up to date but thats what gives it its charm.
The decor brings you back to a time where the theater was the main entertainment center.
As I said the building itself is older but the equipment they use is all up to date and you will have a great experience when you come, for whatever the reason may be.”

“Kathy's house is an amazing place and a blessing for anyone going through severe health issues. It's great that the family can stay right by the hospital and it's very affordable. We are very thankful that we have been able to stay here.

“Powered by Teens Grow Greens! Excellent selection of hanging baskets and vegetables for my garden. Some varieties that I'm not familiar with and a little scared to try. Friendly staff at the counter,, but not much in the greenhouse. I'll definitely return.”

“lots of fresh veggies and fruits during summer, however it's mostly expired or almost so you better freeze it or eat asap. frozen selection is minimal, nothing vegetarian, just fish or chicken breasts or unappealing pork taco meat, but the frozen sausage patties are decent for breakfast egg sandwiches. the volunteers are hit or miss, some nice but some are awkward and not very friendly. the building is clean and organized. great easy location too, right on the always insanely busy Oklahoma. must show ID everytime and get a number and wait to be called. but it's a good system. orderly and easy to get what you need per the current offerings. I notice all kinda of folks here so it's definitely inclusive. my favorite thing was getting lots of free plants, so I've had a nice summer of watching my tomato plants and serrano pepper plants growing beautifully.”

“Our family saw the aquabats concert in June of 2026. The building has been kept up very well, and there is elevator access if you cannot climb all of the stairs to the main level or above to the balcony. I loved how there was beverages and bathrooms on the balcony level as well, and the bathrooms were impeccably clean. The staff for the event was very kind and professional. There are many parking options nearby as well.”

“We love this community staple!! The prices are incredible and we love their mission. Stop supporting Goodwill immediately & donate here! The volunteers are so kind and helpful & the store is meticulously organized, having everything you could need at an affordable price with hidden vintage gems you won’t find anywhere else. Highly suggest bringing cash to make it easy on them or you can pay by card $5 minimum (which sometimes is hard to hit with their sales ?)”

“This is a well organized museum the incorporates Milwaukee history with the influx of Jews and their impact on Milwaukee. It reviews the culture they brought with them, how the community has changed over the years. It highlights several community members who have had national, and even global importance, and got there start right here in Milwaukee. We spent almost two hours reading and exploring.”

“My husband and I applied to this organization in hopes we could get some important repairs completed. My husband had attempted to make needed repairs in our main bathroom several years ago but stopped when he accidentally inhaled a spray that damaged his lungs. RM approved our application and did way more than we hoped! They replaced our front storm/screen door and installed a new lock and dead bolt on the front door. They revamped our entire bathroom by replacing the sink and vanity, ADA toilet, medicine cabinet, and shower/bath fixtures! They added towel and grab bars and toilet paper holder. They replaced rotten wood and installed molding in the tub/shower. They applied anti-mold paint to the bathroom and hall ceilings and painted the walls. Finally, they installed new tiles for the floor. If money remains, they will get someone to re-wire our furnace to get it working again. The crew of Clifford, Robert, and Vernon were so kind and polite over multiple days of repair work; thank you Revitalize Milwaukee for granting such a gift in repairs and kindness for our household!”

“I have been driving past this place forever and a day looking at the public is welcome sign so my first attempt to stop by had a bad sign, every spot in the lot was taken and it's a big lot. What I didn't know is they have a banquet hall and the bar might have had a seat for me. It's a regulars crowd and a medium size bar with a game room on the side with hi tables. Joanie was working and was super friendly with the locals giving her crap but she was a trooper. This is the best kept secret in Milwaukee because it's the cheapest bar to drink in with beer bottles and rail drinks starting at $2.50, my Gin Rickey was $2.50 to my amazement and I can't remember the last time I paid $2.50 for a cocktail. The crowd was diverse, dah cheap drinks. The food is frozen pizza, chicken strips and various breads like garlic bread. If you want bang for your drinking dollar than this is the place to go.”

“A beautiful creative space. My 8 year old noticed the store as we were walking by and asked if we could go in. So glad she did! Our 3 kids were able to participate in the Renaissance Threads project, we made some purchases, and got to pet an adorable dog. Win win win!!”

“Contacted a few places about donating some leggos. They were one of few in communicating back to me. They said they could use them in their new class room. When I dropped them off the gentlemen was happy, telling me how they help the kids to learn. Glad to see people working hard to help kids learn and build life skills.”

“A lot of important work in preserving our city's greenspaces is going on here. The RRF staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I'd highly recommend volunteering, even if just for a couple hours, you'll gain a much greater appreciation for Milwaukee's rivers and the effort taking place to maintain these areas for everyone's enjoyment.”

“Nice, clean affordable space. There could be some updates to the carpet beyond anything else. But for the space you get and your own ability to transform the space, renting this place out for your next occasion is worth it.”
