βI always love coming to this place for any event. Maybe not 100% up to date but thats what gives it its charm.
The decor brings you back to a time where the theater was the main entertainment center.
As I said the building itself is older but the equipment they use is all up to date and you will have a great experience when you come, for whatever the reason may be.β
βI still can't believe such a place exists. I went for my first time and was blown away in a good way. I was so impressed with the staff, the layout, the offerings. You get so much each visit so I don't mind them making us wait 3 months between visits. Having fallen on hard times, I was so happy to have new (for me) clothes and shoes. Everything was in perfect condition. It was more like a regular store than a thrift store. I was most excited to get a perfectly new Kate Spade purse. Everyone wants to feel good and presentable. This is more than just a place for help with clothing, shoes, accessories...it's a boost for your spirit. I only wish I'd known of this amazing place sooner!β
βThe community center has lots of support for families. The family resource center has a open play and some targeted groups as well. It is not a huge place, but there is plenty for kids to do and it's easy to keep track of them. The coffee is hot in the morning, the snacks are stocked, and the staff is very helpful. The dad's group is a great place to chat and discover dad's with similar concerns.β

βWhat an amazing place! The art, the history, the wisdom shared. Shout out to the amazing Father/Daughter Team that is keeping this treasure alive! What a gift to Milwaukee! ???β
βLOVE this place. The volunteers are so helpful. Tons of bikes there, helmets, bike racks. Great prices and free service for a year if you purchase a bike there. Awesome place, with a mission to provide bikes to anyone who wants to ride.β
ββββββ Running Rebels is truly a staple in the community! They create a positive space for the youth, offering mentorship, guidance, and opportunities to help shape a better future. βThis is my favorite spot in the neighborhood! Iβve found some of my favorite shoes here for 3 DOLLARS. And the ladies and the atmosphere are just lovely. β€οΈ??β
βI've been here several times. It's always peaceful. The gift shop is small, but lovely. I like to take the guided walks, and the small festivals. Yoga with the alpacas is enjoyable.β
βWent for a concert and was surprised how neat this venue was. Very cool looking inside. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. They have multiple bars to grab a drink.β
βAbsolutely superb experience doing run of show for a non profit annual meeting here last week. The entire staff was so kind and helpful. The space is immaculate, and they have everything you could dream of for having an event run smoothly.β
βI have been biking since I was 8 and more then likely I will doing it until I'm 108. These people facilitate trails, programs and spearhead initiatives so that are state can can have as many people rolling as possible. I have been a proud member for years and will continue to do so. Become a member yourself and maybe stop on by they have great art.β
βAbsolutely the warmest people, so friendly and professional and welcoming in the best nonjudgmental way. I got wonderful groceries that I can really use and cook with. Lots of brand name things and nothing expired. Fresh bread, too, from Sendik's and Trader Joe's. Everything was clean and organized. The system they have is very well done, super efficient. I like that you go through and pick what you like from each section. You take a number then go downstairs and wait. The line moved so fast and everyone including the kids were well behaved. Also a HUGE big hug and shout-out to Jay, the nice young man, who says he's 18. He's proof that young men can act respectful. The media seems to jump to assumptions about young black men, but Jay is the future we need in this country. Jay's big heart and warm patient personality made my first visit to this pantry a very positive one. I will return monthly. The whole experience enriched my spirit as well as my stomach. Thank you to all the staff.
The ladies upstairs at the front entrance lit up my soul with their smiles. This location and the organization overall is a true beacon of light and hope. May God bless them!β
βAbsolutely fantastic experience. Staff are so very attentive and patient with all Native American participants. The need of this service is so immense. Kudos to The Hunger Task Force Staff and program.β
βThis is a well organized museum the incorporates Milwaukee history with the influx of Jews and their impact on Milwaukee. It reviews the culture they brought with them, how the community has changed over the years. It highlights several community members who have had national, and even global importance, and got there start right here in Milwaukee. We spent almost two hours reading and exploring.β
βWonderful church, extremely nice people. Their motto is:"No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here."So true at this church.β
βI visited for the Trans Health Fair and had a really great time. It's easy to get to D&R off the bus or by car, and the location felt safe. I'm excited to visit again.β
βStaff here are professional, patient and nice. Anna is very nice also, she is the manager I believe. I love the fact they go on field trips every week during the summer. I feel safe taking my kids here as well.β
βMy husband and I applied to this organization in hopes we could get some important repairs completed. My husband had attempted to make needed repairs in our main bathroom several years ago but stopped when he accidentally inhaled a spray that damaged his lungs. RM approved our application and did way more than we hoped! They replaced our front storm/screen door and installed a new lock and dead bolt on the front door. They revamped our entire bathroom by replacing the sink and vanity, ADA toilet, medicine cabinet, and shower/bath fixtures! They added towel and grab bars and toilet paper holder. They replaced rotten wood and installed molding in the tub/shower. They applied anti-mold paint to the bathroom and hall ceilings and painted the walls. Finally, they installed new tiles for the floor. If money remains, they will get someone to re-wire our furnace to get it working again. The crew of Clifford, Robert, and Vernon were so kind and polite over multiple days of repair work; thank you Revitalize Milwaukee for granting such a gift in repairs and kindness for our household!β
βFrom the first day working here, I knew it was a very special place. In my 35 years of having jobs, Iβve never experienced an environment like this. It can only speak to the founder and president, Janan Najeeb, the board members and the staff. Each woman has a superpower and uses it to her fullest to manage the incredible reach of the organizationβs mission.MMWC and Janan Najeeb should be a household name.β
βA lot of important work in preserving our city's greenspaces is going on here. The RRF staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I'd highly recommend volunteering, even if just for a couple hours, you'll gain a much greater appreciation for Milwaukee's rivers and the effort taking place to maintain these areas for everyone's enjoyment.β
βNice, clean affordable space. There could be some updates to the carpet beyond anything else. But for the space you get and your own ability to transform the space, renting this place out for your next occasion is worth it.β
βThe most supportive and kindest staff ever. They always have 30+ available job opportunities printed for you to take and apply at your convenience which are updated regularly. They have been a great resource helping me tweak my resume. Along with giving me alternative of ways to search for potential jobs that fit my skill set, as I am trying to change career fields.β
βAbsolutely love the employees here!!! So very kind! My niece is super shy. I told her to get a job here. I think she would work out very well with the rest of the people that work here.β
