“This store is located on Packard Ave. In Cudahy. Christmas items are now beginning to cover the store. Not much left of Halloween or Thanksgiving items. They have a larger selection of items that cost $3 or more including cleaning products, home decorations, blankets, etc.”

I live in the next town overI can find all sorts of miscellaneous needs there..everything from diapers for my grandchildren to pillows, trash cans, grocery items. They used to sell lots of clothes but now only have seasonal stuff like mittens and scarves.”

“Late spring 2025 update, I stopped back in and things were running more smoothly, more staff, friendlier interactions, adding back a star. If it stays like it was last time I stopped in, it'll be a 5 star store.
2025: Lines are still very long, prices have increased, and staff are overwhelmed.
I hate to review this stoor poorly as it's important to many members of our community, but it's story time (slightly abridged): Today, I accidentally spilled degreaser on the floor, (the bottles come apart for no reason, and degreaser is very slippery) I immediately notified the cashier, and she notified a colleague, who took no action. After a few minutes, I found a wet floor sign near the register, and put it up myself. This infuriated the cashier who embarrassed me in front of her line of about a dozen customers for trying to do the right thing, claiming I was making her look bad to corporate. Eventually the manager came out to assess the situation, and I showed him where I had spilled, told him I was sorry, and left without making a purchase. I don't think I can come back to this dollar tree for a few weeks, and I was very excited that it had re-opened.
2018: Lines are often long, but staff is friendly and they have everything you really need and more”

“I came here for balloons for my cousins birthday, such a nice experience! The service is really great and they were friendly and willing to help with any questions I had trying to find things. One staff member helped me pick the cutest balloon weight when I was looking for something specific. “This dollar tree usually has what im looking for. It's in a convient location and if they dont have what you're looking for, it is other stores very close in the area so you have your choices of stores. Also if you get hungry after going in dollar tree for item and come out with 15 things, there are plenty restaurants in the area to fill your tummy afterwards. This is one of the better dollar trees in Milwaukee. Would recommend d this store to friends.”
“I was shopping a few years back and came across this pain relief balm for my lower back pain. At first I didn't think it would work and was skeptical of buying it. So, I said, hey why not. It worked wonders on my low back area. I have been trying to find some more and haven't and now I see some online as well at the store where I purchased it at. Will definitely recommend. All you need is a small amount and just massage it in.”
“Just leaving the Family Dollar over here on Holton. This my first time coming to this one. Everything is well stocked, store not cluttered at all, very neat, nothing in the aisle, ain't nobody in there acting a fool, the cashier she was very pleasant and quickly checked us out so no line backups formed. I didn't have any issues with security. I had a very pleasant shopping experience there. I've read other reviews that were not favorable, however. this was my honest to God experience today, and I will be returning back there to shop again.”

“Has parking in back... Street too...I pass a lot of stores on my way there bc they are the best docked store... Go another mile or two and that stores shelves are nearly empty. Girls at counter are great.. Had a problem with my coupons uploading.. manger fixed me right up.”
“I really liked this location's Dollar Tree because although they didn't have everything I wanted it still was a chill laid back atmosphere. The ppl weren't rowdy nor threatening (as previously lead to believe) and quite patient as well as helpful. I was in a rush but their vibes totally chilled me. The manager is excellent. I told her the truth...she deserves a raise. She is an exceptional worker and as long as they're open I think I've found my new spot.”
“I love this store. Sure sometimes it's busy, that is to be expected. And on delivery day, there are boxes of new items, waiting to be shelved, and it DOES get shelved. Not sure what people are complaining about, it's a good store, super convenient location, good prices, if you don't like litter, either don't litter or help out and pick something up, I do, they're busy inside, there's not enough staff to be running outside picking up after people. That's common sense, count how many working people you see inside. Not many at all, even on delivery day, the company is not worried about making things run smoothly, they're worried about making a lot of profit for themselves.”
“Always some hidden gems here, and you can skip over big ticket items that will suffice just fine. The $1.25 is still a deal - it took a while to get used to, but in these days and times i appreciate Dollar Tree....
This particular store needed restocking in several places. I'd been here quite a few times before. It seems to have taken a dip. If someone needs employment, they are looking to recruit.”
“This place has helpful staff and they have all the things you need for a pretty reasonable price. The store is usually in pretty good condition at this location on Howell. I can see why the other Dollar generals type stores are all closing or have closed in the area because this one is much more organized and on top of things than the others were. Things are usually in stock and in the proper places.”

“Especially after their newest remodel, dollar general is like dollar tree on steroids. There is basically anything you can think of, including some name brands. It has soft drinks, chips, baking supplies, pet care, home decor, cleaning supplies and a selection of toys among many other things. The items range from $1.25-$10 unlike dollar tree, but the items are higher quality. The establishment is clean and the workers are polite and friendly. Due to staffing shortages the store will randomly be closed and that takes away a star.”

“I had a great time unloading at this store. It's a bad setup for this store but I unloaded 1100+ pieces in 2.5 hours. If they could get to the city to let them block the road the semi-trailer could be straight with the door making the unloading a lot easier. I'm just saying not complaining because im sure no driver has unloaded that many pieces in the time frame I have.”
“I`ve been coming to this store for numerous years and generally I like it. The prices of food are very comparable to large grocers and other goods as well and sometimes even better. Service quality has gone down in the last few years as a result of the pandemic and as in many stores the newly hired are not given enough training on product knowledge, customer service and site upkeep and this leaves customers dismayed and seeking a better shopping experience. Some of this is blamed on ownership far removed from the stores themselves and management that is not as far as removed from the stores themselves but are more concerned with their golfing averages rather than running a store right.”

“I was at the Dollar Tree at 5656 S. Packard Ave. Cudahy, WI on 5/18/23. What a fabulous manager! The store was the best well-organized Dollar Tree I've ever been in. It was extremely clean and made my shopping experience pleasant AND efficient. I did compliment the manager! He was friendly, clean in appearance as a super role model and he deserved to be proud of his store.”
