“I’m from out of town and had an emergency with a tire on my RV. I was referred to tandem by the Meineke dealership in town because they did not have my size tire. Austin set up an appointment for me within an hour, took care of my warranty that covered the tire, the tech that replaced my tire answered my questions completely. And I was on my way in an hour and a half. They were a blessing to me and I would highly recommend them.”

“The Tandem staff got our vehicle in right away and had the car back and road-ready that same day. Stellar service. We had a situation where my son called me at 5:26 in the morning to say his wheel fell off his car out by the DBQ airport. Huh? Yep. It just fell off and sheared off the bolts that were hold it on. After spending about 90 minutes helping him for the wheel in the dark, we called a tow truck to have his vehicle towed to Tandem. I chose to have it towed to Tandem because I thought they would be quick about getting the vehicle put back together and they were. The wheel was not salvageable so they had to find a new matching one and they did so quickly - probably not an easy feat for a 2003 Jeep Liberty. My son needed the car to drive to Davenport for work and Tandem got him back on the road as quickly as possible.”

If need be, he takes the vehicle out for a test drive and can determine what and why it needs certain repairs or maintaining.”

6+ hours into our drive time, late Friday afternoon of the Labor Day weekend, we hit a rock on the highway outside of Plattville, causing quite a bulge in our tire wall. Found Dewey's Tire repair while in downpouring rain. The men had all four tires replaced by the time I made 2 phone calls to the insurance company. Back on the road in an hour to enjoy our vacation!! It might sound standard, but i drive a very unique european vehicle and many places turn me away instantly on the phone, but they were very receptive and if i were ever in town again this is the first place i’d call into!”
“I had rust problems on some sections of the frame of my Jeep. It was rusted completely through in some areas. They repaired it beautifully, and it looks as good as a new factory frame. They also painted and rust-proofed the repaired area.”
