“I stayed here roughly a month ago (I'm wearing their shirt as I am writing this)This motel is a hidden gem of Eagle River! The staff including the owner/manager are all friendly, they have free breakfast available for a few hours in the morning as well as a ground level bridge that connects to a neighboring Restaurant (not affiliated with the lodge)I have property willed to me as well as family one town over from Eagle River, and I would totally 10/10 book here again!Rooms: The rooms have a very Midwest feel to them, almost like a log cabin vibe and feel to them. The room was the highlight of the lodge for me!”

“Not a lot of bells and whistles, but super clean! You can even smell the freshness when you walk in the room. The quaint lobby, the retro decor, and a well maintained property, added to the niceness of this hotel. The fact that it's right in town is also a plus. Just walk to all the shopping!”

“For $240 a night with appliances from 1981, a strong smoke smell despite no smoking policy, and pets from others jumping all over you, this place is highway robbery. Definitely not worth spending so much.Other key notes: cups in cafe for breakfast had gross foreign pieces in them. We overheard the housekeepers saying "if it looks like it wasn't used, you don't have to clean it", while inside one of the rooms they were cleaning. The side doors are never locked either, so anyone from outside can come in at all hours, including those without a reservation.Rooms: Smell like smoke despite the no smoking policy.”
